They've added self serve kiosks to order, although I don't know why. We placed our order and then watched scores of people walk up and order in person and receive instant service. As is sadly the case with most fast food now, the food looks nothing like it appears on the menu when you receive it. I suppose it's time I simply lower my expectations for fast food

Typically tim's. Ok coffee and stale bagels. The usually slow servive inside as they concentrate on drive though.
1 person inside taking orders, then filling the order.
7 people of 3 were standing around doing nothing, looking after drivethro.
Not 1 of 3 doing nothing jump over to help the over worked person trying to handled inside .
Very dirty men's room. I don't it's been clean since grand opening at 10 years ago.

The place is always clean and super fast for one of the only places to stop on the actual highway between Mattawa and Ottawa. Been stopping here for years and will continue to.
Food was good but there is always an issue with the women's washroom. Stopped on Thursday, no toilet paper stopped Sunday tap at sink broken. All Tim Hortons washroom are old and need TLC. Also they need to hire 1 employee to take care of just keeping restaurant area and washrooms clean and that is a full time job.

The Deep River TH has been our go-to when we go camping. However, this morning I saw a fly in the donuts display and when I told 3 staff, these were their reactions: 1) “Oh?” then looked away and continued serving people. 2) “Where is it?” and tried to find the fly by peeking behind one donut tray then another, but not pulling out several trays in one go, which would’ve been most effective. She then gave up after about 10 seconds. 3) “What? Oh…” then continued serving me and that’s that.
While I could understand that they probably prioritized serving customers before chasing a fly out of the display, they didn’t even assure me that they understood my concern or that they would do something about it. Very disappointed! I ended up NOT buying any food. :(
Note that this is not the first TH outlet that I’ve seen a fly in the display. TH needs to find a way to prevent flies from accessing the food.

This is THE timmies to go to! I ALWAYS get my drinks and food made to perfection, Nancy is hilarious, she never disappoints me for her witty comments and genuine conversation & the other employees are also incredible (I can’t give more names to shout out as I don’t know everyone- but there’s also this young teenager with a lovely accent who is also very talented and sweet) I am never ever disappointed when I leave. Always such a welcoming environment and they’re even starting to remember my drink by the sound of my voice..exceptional place and people all around!
