The food here was fantastic. Huge portion sizes, full of flavour. I had the hamburger poutine and it was delicious. April was amazing, she was very helpful with food choices and extremely outgoing. We will be coming here EVERYTIME we go to deseronto. Highly recommend.
Gluten Free Poutine!!! The Food Shack at the OASIS gas station in Deseronto is a fantastic spot for grab-and-go meals. They start serving breakfast at 8:30 am and keep the tasty options coming all day. The service here is always welcoming and efficient. Everything is takeout, but the quality and generous portions are awesome. Whether you’re craving breakfast or a satisfying lunch, The Food Shack delivers great food and friendly vibes year-round. Definitely worth a stop!

Great food. Menu has many options. Prices are great for the quality and quantity. Burgers are loaded and amazingly delicious. Poutine was made with curd and a dark,rich gravy that was hot enough to melt the curd. Definitely our go-to spot when we are in that area.
I was a cook here. Be careful eating here. They leave stuff in the fridge for days and days. I questioned stuff and asked and was told just cook it. It'll be fine. But the smell was bad. I even took upon myself to throw ham out cause it was bad. If I didn't it would have been cooked. I'm just saying be careful. Hotdogs sit out for 2 weeks at a time maybe longer. The place was filthy. I cleaned it. Windows were nasty. The containers were gross. The boss double charges her employees for stuff and shorts hours. If you don't kiss ass your an outcast and I got pics to back it up
A hole in the wall place. It’s breakfast and lunch. The price is reasonable and a perfect pit stop before crossing the border back to America. There are outdoor seating but it was chilly so we ate in the car. Food was tasty and staff were friendly. Swing by if you are either on the way to Canada or leaving Canada.
