Captain Fish Express (Chip Truck)

Douglas is so lucky to have this little gem! Betty and Norm make everything with love, the portions are generous and the menu is so creative. The redneck burger is the best burger that I have ever eaten - it should win some kind of culinary award! Thanks for the continued great service, and thanks for being such an asset to the community.

Enjoyed a fantastic Philly cheese steak with a buddy. So big it fed both of us. Our other two friends had the same thing. 5 stars. These guys rock!

The very best vegan pizza I've ever had. Just as was ordered no cheese meat or fat.but supertasty.

Stopped on the way home Sunday service was great they weren’t busy at the time. Food was terrific fries were perfectly done. Burgers amazing real beef, fast and fresh large portions. And our pup even got a bit of chicken, she has a new best friend! Thanks again. We will be back

Excellent customer service and food, we did have a bit of a wait but they are extremely busy for a reason, the food is the best and people don’t mind waiting for fresh homemade food like theirs so if your wanting your order right away, you should stop at McDonald’s ?

Disappointed. After waiting over 30 minutes for 2 cheeseburgers and fries, we asked if our food would be out soon. The worker replied with tone “it takes time to cook”. The two workers in the kitchen continued to unpleasantly bicker regarding each others work throughout the duration of our visit. When we finally got our food, the order was missing toppings that cost extra. I wouldn’t stop here if you need your meal timely.

Omg the food is amazing! Anyone driving through Douglas should drop in. You won't regret it. Nice eating area looking out on the river. Service may be a little slow for out of towners but sure worth the wait. Definately will visit again.

Some of the best Onion Rings we have ever had came from this wonderful chip truck. My teenage kids said their food was better than any restaurant. The portions were generous and filling(we had leftovers)The operator was very nice and friendly. You can tell he really cares about what he does and it reflects in the qulaity of the food. We will definitely be coming back because everything we ordered was delicious and made with care.

First time customer eating at Captain Fish chip stand in Douglas. Was visiting my Aunt Rita and we got the buffalo chicken poutine and pickle spears. The portions were very generous we shared an order and still have lots left over as you can see. Excellent food ... Service and portions.I will be back!

Everytime I stop for food its delicious . Other trucks claim to have the best poutine in the ottawa valley but this truck makes the best hands down . The Giro is awesome , the portions are very large for the price . Worth the stop if you ask me .

Was not disappointed with my take out meal! Fries cooked to perfection, jumbo dog was yummy! This is my new stop when passing through Douglas

Great service, but the fries were undercooked. Wouldn't be a bad thing, but l asked for them to be cooked to a crispy exterior.

Stopped here on our way home from Boncherre Caves. So glad that we did! The gentleman how operates the truck was super friendly and happy! On top of the fact that the food was incredible and extremely reasonably priced. I had the 2 piece fish, my wife had the buffalo chicken wrap and our little one had a poutine. All the food was awesome the portions are great too! Take the time to stop in Douglas Ontario and try some awesome food at a great little patio!! Well worth it!!

Honestly best food ever! So worth the wait, it was extremely fresh and extremely delicious. People need to understand for fresh and delicious food they need to wait, if you want quick food go to McDonald's but you certainly WILL NOT get the quality you get here. Thank you captain fish express for my absolutely amazing meal you have found a new customer in me! Keep up the great work!
