This is our first experience with the Diner and we were honestly impressed. We both had the Haddock and chips. Loved the light batter and the fish was done perfectly. The fries were delicious and the cole slaw too. Very nice and generous portions. We'll make this a regular stop.

Stopped in for lunch. Food was excellent and the owner is a great hostess. Even gave us fresh hot cinnamon buns on the house for dessert. It was weird being in the old Douglas Hotel sober :)

Everything is so tasty you can taste the love and passion they put into the food. Took my Grandma here for her birthday..... the staff was very friendly and the space is super cute and they left the Douglas Tavern charm ❤️The portions were absoultely amazing, fresh cut fries, very large portion of onion rings :) I had a poutine with a great amount of cheese curds and tasty Gravy! Colesaw was tasty and fresh, the two pieces of fish fill a large plate. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Amanda and chatting with her and gave them praise! A hidden gem for sure.
