Eating your meal, you’ll be looking out through the window at the Dresden Race Track, the ancestral home for Standardbred Horse Harness Racing going back to 1888, one of the oldest and most historic race tracks in Canada. During May through September, the half-mile oval dirt track features horses running at a distinctive trotting gait, pulling a sulky, an unusual two-wheel assembly possessing a heavy-duty suspension saddle-seat for the jockey rider.

The atmosphere is comforting, clean and the customers are all well mannered. Jim the owner/operator is a constant professional. The sign, enter as strangers, leave as friends says it all. This place was perfect to have breakfast between game for a hockey tournament. The service was quick and the breakfast was delicious. Only bump was they only take cash, but they were kind and trusting to let us run to the back and back. Overall great atmosphere, will suggest to friend and be back.

This was our first time dining here and didn't realize it was cash only....they didn't make a big deal about it, just said...ya just go grab some cash no big deal....WOW that would never happen in London....you would have the police called on you. So kuddos to the wonderful staff for making our experience amazing 😍
