The service was great, we were greeted promptly and seated. The wait staff was attentive and polite. Where it fell short was the food. We ordered Halibut, and the steak. The Halibut was overcooked and dry, the presentation was messy. The steak was just average, although cooked to the correct temperature. We alao ordered appetizers, scallops, which were excellent and gazpacho which was an interesting dish, very complex flavors. For dessert we had the swiss roll, this was a big miss, the swiss roll was dry, like grocery store swiss roll, the dish was nothing really exciting or to write about.
At this price point I expect a better culinary experience. There was no real impressive dish.

There is a complex formula in determining whether a restaurant is 5 stars… from parking, greeting, decor and ambience, beverage service, presentation and quality of the food to say nothing of the restrooms. Quatrefoil staff are simply outstanding, and the food is hot, beautifully presented and delicious ( try the soups) to say nothing of the knowledgable sommelier who will match your food choices perfectly. Kudos to you all! Truly a wonderful oasis tucked into downtown Dundas! A fabulous 70th birthday celebration .. so Very Thankful!

I brought my wife here for her birthday dinner and the food and service didn’t disappoint. We got the duck and the red snapper for our main course and both of them were perfectly cooked and came with some wonderful accompaniments. The service was great and they did a great job coming by our table to make sure we had a good time as well as leaving us space to enjoy our meal. Would definitely come here again.
