Thirsty Cactus remains as the best value nachos even. Amazing nachos. Enough to feed 1-2 people easily. Or even 3. Great selection of beer.
I always forget about it. Ya sure it's not authentic Mexican but it's great.
Funny seeing some negative reviews of someone with take out complaining a chimmicanga was soggy... It's always been crispy and amazing.
Also also tonnes of vegetarian options here. With the beam and cheese everything.
Also I've heard from multiple people some of the best wings anywhere.
Also great summer patio. The classic Dundas local.
Service is always friendly too.

Always love the cactus. They deliver on tasty Tex mex and pub style options with some great value drinks and appetizers as well. The building is beautiful and a cool vibe. In the summer, the patio is a great spot to take in the sun. Highly recommend!

My friend and I grabbed a bite at the Thirsty Cactus before a ghost walk in Dundas a few weeks back! They had a great deal with a burrito or chimichanga for $12 as the daily special. Food came out quickly, was hot and delicious! Service was exceptional. The guy who served us was very attentive and friendly! We had a time pinch and service was seamless, despite it being busier for their trivia night! Will definitely be back!!

Had the pleasure of eating at Thirsty Cactus with some friends from Quebec. I admit I talked the place up quite a bit before we went and Thirsties did not disappoint. I had an amazing pulled pork sandwich and fries that was perfect. I believe my friends had the Mac and Cheese and a Mexican dish I won't butcher the name. Great service,great food 10out of 10.
Hosted my son's birthday 🎂 Everything went off without a hitch.. food was fantastic! Our server Tim was outstanding.. taking care of our every need plus super friendly and easy to talk to! Such a positive experience. Pete's suggestions on food was perfect! A fabulous night! ❤️

Visted after a hike and really enjoyed the food! The portions are huge!! You will not leave hungry and everything is priced fairly well. The servers were great about splitting the bills within our group as well. Would recommend checking out Thirsty Cactus!

Decent size portions and a great patio. Sat on the patio during the summer and was swarmed by wasps at the table - not the restaurant's fault at all - but maybe some wasp traps would help in the future!
