Cute 50's style dinner in Dunnville , ON. Excellent portion size for price. Food was delicious!

They didn't have fish so I tried Spaghetti and meatballs. Not warm enough and not very good. I forgot a general rule: don't get pasta at a place which doesn't specialize in it.If I go again I'll try a burger.

Had the Philly Cheese Steak today. It was so Deliciousssssss. Nice n cheesy , lots of steak n cheese on a fresh bun

If you could rate a zero I would. Years back this was a fantastic place to eat! Awesome Italian food which I had brought many people to this establishment to try Julia’s cooking!Over the past two years the food quality and service has been one of the worst I’ve experienced! cold greasy bacon, runny eggs, cold uncooked hash browns and cold toast! Cold chicken fingers, uncooked fries just to name a few!I’ve gone many times hoping to see improvement and unfortunately it hasn’t.I also had a bad experience at her other store and when I posted about my bad experience (respectfully) she has gone on a rant calling me a liar! Very unprofessional in terms of a business owner. If this is how she runs her business I can’t see them lasting..I would suggest trying other restaurants in Dunnville as you may very well have the same unpleasant experience I’ve had without any compensation on your bill.This review is over the past 2 years and multiple meals including, breakfast, lunches and dinners.

The only positive I can say about this place is it isn't dirty. It is very clean. The food is not appealing to my families taste and the service was so slow we contemplated leaving. Not a great value either. Maybe it was a bad day as help is hard to find.

Saturday Morning….Went there for breakfast…ordered an omelette was told they didn’t have any ham. When omelette came it wasn’t cooked, eggs runny hardly any onions, peppers or feta in it. Sent it back. Had to wait in line ..one person in front of me. Waited almost 30 mins. Eggs cooked this time but contents still very sparse. Paid bill…no discount offered for what we went through. Went to wash room before leaving only to find No TP and the paper hand towel was sat on side of sink. Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and floors throughout restaurant were sticky from whatever. Place needed a good clean and I would certainly NOT recommend it to even my worst enemy. Surprised the place is still in business. Gave it one star because nothing lower was provided.

Went to Julia’s bistro the other day, got 2 double eggs Benedict both of them had very undercooked runny eggs the Pemale bacon was very undercooked I ended up just throwing it in the garbage. Went there today because they said next time I come in all my food will be free, I went in today they charged me 18.50 for one meal when I was supposed to have 2 free and I found hair in my home fries, highly recommended staying away from there

Where to begin? October 2, 2022. The only things that were good were the toast and chocolate milk. We should have known this would be bad when we sat down and there were three dead wasps in the window sill. I ordered my egg fried over hard, and when it came out it was still runny. I mentioned to the server that I ordered it over hard and instead of just bringing out a new egg, he took my whole plate, so I was left without any food while the rest of my table was eating theirs. When it came back, it was better but not great, and my plate now had an orange slice and tomato on it. The sausage was at least hot the second time around. FYI when you ask for water, they bring you a bottle and charge you $1.25. Bacon was undercooked. Bathroom was disgusting. Do not go here.

It was my first time here and definitely my last. I don't even know where to start. It was all so bad. There were four of us eating. First, we ordered our meals, specifically asked for eggs to be made a certain way. It was noted by the server. The food took a bit long but they were busy - not big deal. When we received our food there were so many issues with everyone's order (there were four of us!): for the poached eggs, both eggs were cooked differently, one medium and one boiled. It was green inside because of how overcooked it was. Once order was florentine and was served with spinach that was once frozen but still had that bitter, bland taste. Nasty! The mushroom served with it weren't event cooked, they were still fresh and covered in that nasty spinach. Next order, we asked for eggs to be served hard and they came back runny. They were sent back and returned, still runny! Now, on to the meat: bacon was so undercooked it was like rubber and it was COLD. The sausages we ordered were COLD as well. They forgot our side dishes, a pancake yet still charged us for it. It was a disastrous of a meal and we will never go back. We still ate our meals and didn't bother to complain because they had one staff running around, the other guy was focused on a catering order. Do not recommend. We should have waited 40 minutes to go to the Pothos Cafe.

We took our daughter here for lunch and it was not a pleasant dining experience. The server was great but the food was atrocious, the fries were cold, the chicken club had a chicken burger on it and the pierogies were deep fried and way to hot for my daughter to eat - she couldn’t eat her meal when we were eating. If you are ordering take out, beware that the prices on the website are different than what’s on the menu. Definitely would not go back again.

I hosted an event for 36 and had catering done by Julia. Was amazing. My guests enjoyed the food it was excellent!! They delivered in time as promised and all was such an amazing help to me so so I could enjoy my guests. Julia was communicating regularly through the process and adapted to any changes in numbers and was amazing!

This place is fabulous. My family has been here many times for takeout which was always delicious with generous portions. This was my first visit dining in and both the atmosphere and staff were wonderful. So the most important part... the food... perfect. Large portions of fresh and delicious at very, very reasonable prices. We enjoyed spinach eggs florentine, veggie omelet w cheese, huge pancakes, and breakfast wraps all with home fries. All delicious.

Mamma and papa small town restaurant in Dunville Ontario. Another hidden gem. Pricing is reasonable. The decor is retro yet modern. Multi functional facility with dine in service and on certain days, cafeteria style. Has a ice cream parlor in the building. Was having lunch and watched customers walk in just for ice cream. Olivia was my server, shout out to her.

Not busy but the wait for food was very long. Spaghetti and meatballs was terrible. Sauce had no taste, pasta was gummy, meatball not bad. Fish and chips also not good. Fish undercooked and greasy.Won’t be back.
