New Amsterdam Pub Reviews
We were pleasantly surprised, Our meals were excellent. The only disappointment were the fries. They are so fake due to the crispy coating, that means they are not even real potatoes. Other people in town have commented on how they wish they would just use regular frozen fries.
Top tier service, fast and friendly staff, combined with a wonderful atmosphere has kept me coming back time and time again. Definitely as good as it gets!
Nice and quaint inside. Even though they were busy when we arrived the customer service and food was amazing!

The New Amsterdam Pub offers tasty and reasonably priced food, with standout dishes including fish and chips, perch, haddock, and mozzarella sticks. The batter on the fish is light and crispy, and the portions are generous. The poutine gravy is praised for its flavor, with fries that are golden crisp and not too greasy or heavy. Service is friendly, but there can be slow times for acknowledgment and food waits. The atmosphere has a cool pub vibe, and the interior can be a bit dark. The restaurant has a spacious patio, making it a great summer destination. Friday nights feature live music from local bands, adding to the fun. Prices are reasonable, with two lunches, a starter, beer, and pop totaling $60. The location is child-friendly, but the interior has high-top tables that may not be ideal for families with young children.
