Firehouse Subs East Gwillimbury / Newmarket

Medium sub is a decent size. I only ended up eating half. Staff were friendly when I told them it’s my first time. I asked them what there most popular is, they said the brisket but I had my eye on the meatball and Italian. Italian never fails lol. The sauce was delicious but it was a lot. Next time I’ll tell them to go a bit lighter. Over all I will not be going back to Mr sub or subway. They are way better!

I’ve been going to this Firehouse Subs location on numerous occasions. It’s usually more consistent and much cleaner than the newer one at 404 Davis. But recently, they hired a worker who clearly doesn’t care. I received a sloppy sub that fell apart. When you’re paying twenty dollars for a sub, you expect something at least half decent. This time it was a total waste of money.

Every visit to Firehouse Subs is a treat! The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is always quick and friendly. My go-to order is the Beef and Cheddar Brisket—it’s smoky, tender, and packed with flavor. The melted cheddar adds the perfect creamy touch, and I love pairing it with a crisp pickle on the side for that extra crunch. It’s consistently delicious and never disappoints. If you’re craving a hearty, satisfying sandwich, this is the one to try!

The subs were very good. Service was also great. My only complaint is the distribution of the meat. It is nice and thick in the middle but hardly any on the ends so you just eat lettuce and sauce. You could move the meat but I don't want to have to rearrange my food before eating it. The price is quite a bit more than other sub shops so be aware of that.

The best sub place in Newmarket/East Gwillimbury. This is a staple spot for when I need something quick that doesn’t feel like junky fast food. 10/10 recommend to all my friends.
