Firehouse Subs East Gwillimbury / Newmarket

The subs were very good. Service was also great. My only complaint is the distribution of the meat. It is nice and thick in the middle but hardly any on the ends so you just eat lettuce and sauce. You could move the meat but I don't want to have to rearrange my food before eating it. The price is quite a bit more than other sub shops so be aware of that.

The best sub place in Newmarket/East Gwillimbury. This is a staple spot for when I need something quick that doesn’t feel like junky fast food. 10/10 recommend to all my friends.

I've been going to Firehouse Subs and specifically this Green Lane location for roughly 7 or 8 years.
Got a New York steamer and I can tell you that there's a lot less meat than there used to be.
If you're going to keep putting the price up you can't practice shrinkflation as well. It's very noticeable in my last couple experiences and will affect my decision between here or another takeout establishment going forward establishment

I visit Firehouse Subs quite often and usually they don’t disappoint. This time wasn’t the greatest. I’m not sure if I got a one off bad sub or what. The sub itself was toasted, but the meat and veggies were cold. The sub didn’t taste the greatest and the ingredients such as onions seemed a little old. Overall I was disappointed with the food and I will likely go back to Firehouse, but unfortunately will be skipping this location.

I love that each Firehouse subs uses pictures of their local firehalls instead of a generic picture. The food was great. The take out package is amazing and keeps the sub in place. Better that just parchment paper and a bag.

I had the great displeasure of visiting this location on 02/08/23. I am writing the review two years to the date and time as I still experience trauma to this day. To preface, I am a veteran…served in Nam, and on this fateful day two years ago, I arrived at Firehouse subs 20 minutes before closing time. With no employee in sight and my stomach urging me forward, I peeked over the counter to find the employee crouched below view. The memories came flooding back, suddenly I was also crouch behind sandbags hiding from my enemy (the customer). I called out in hopes the employee would acknowledge my presence and snap me back to reality, however that was not the case. The employee hurried around the corner and out of sight as my anxiety and tension grew. Who knew a simple sandwich and irresponsible employee could keep a seasoned sourdough veteran up at night?
