Never disappoints! Fresh and delicious. Piping hot Shak Shuka, Dungeness crab Benny. Manage to maintain prices reasonable in these days of inflation.

One of the best gems in the area. Tatlows is seriously doing it right. We are frequent visitors for a lovely Sunday brunch, and have yet to try something we didn’t like. Come for the eggs benny, no matter what you try it will be fantastic. Servers and staff are super friendly and personal. Makes you feel like home when you dine here. First time dinning here for dinner and we had great meals all around. Curry dishes were fantastic. Definitely recommend. The goat curry was full of depth and flavour. French onion soup was out of this world.

Visited on a weekday and we were the only table eating under the open tent. Extensive menu, almost suspiciously though, since how can a small restaurant keep that much food inventory on hand without resorting to a lot of frozen food. Regardless, the prices are reasonable and our server was particularly friendly and sociable. Would return here. Easy parking too.

Don't let looks cool you, the food at this place is outstanding. The chef is a brilliant saucier, I loved flavours of everything I tried. The butternut squash ravioli was my favourite.Decor is super dated and rough and the service was slow, but we are committed out of a pandemic and I know staying had been difficult in the restaurant industry. The food is worth it!

Just moved to the area and wife and I was quite excited to try Tatlows after seeing the raving reviews, but left with utter disappointment.Upon arrival, the server insisted on seating us at a tiny two seater table when there were several 4-seater tables available and we saw all other parties of two were sat at those. (there were no reservations for them either)We ordered the lamb shank skillet and duck confit. Food took an excessively long time to arrive (50-60 minutes), and when we asked if this was typical or due to special circumstances, they said yea it's been known to take up to two hours.... Why anyone would be willing to wait that long for food at a family diner beats me.During the entire dining experience, there was zero attentiveness from the server, did not refill our water and she was more focused on the leafs game on the TV.Unfortunately when the food finally arrived, our mood was already ruined and did not enjoy it as much as we would've liked, to be fair, the lamb shank was 5/5 and extremely tender, the duck confit was 2/5 and mostly ruined by the extra sweet honey glaze.Bill came to $80+ with the sides we added, and you can likely find better service and food elsewhere.

It has been a very long time since the last time we had brunch before the lockdowns and this was an excellent first choice and worth the drive from Toronto. We were a party of six and we ordered to our hearts’ content. We had Jenny Benny, Roast Beef Benny, Southern Fried Chicken Benny, Mushroom Benny, Toasted BLT and Farmers Omelette with several portions of Cinnamon Buns.Long story short: everything was delicious, the portions were quite satisfying and well worth it!The service was very friendly and accommodating. The backyard patio was comfortable and spacious enough for everyone, including free parking.

Everyone I have talked to about Tatlows raves about the food, so we thought that we would try it for dinner one evening. I thought that it was a bit on the pricy side, given its location and the service was good. I had the spicy Jambalaya and while it was extremely tasty, it was a bit on the salty side, so I am not sure if the chef had a bad night or if this is typical. I suspect that it is the former because if it wasn’t, people wouldn’t rave about it the way they do. They seem to have a great selection of variations on Eggs Benedict on their Sunday brunch menu but unfortunately, that is too far for us to travel for brunch.

First time during COVID to seat in (patio actually) and introduce my daughter to one of my places to eat and was not disappointed. Always ready to accommodate reasonable requests! When I pay for food, it better be excellent, and that is what I get here all the time.

This was suggested as an out of the way but worth the drive place to dine. We were not disappointed. A varied menu for these Covid times. Jenn, the server, was professional, friendly and patient. Food was presented with creativity and was delicious! Definitely worth the drive. A special thanks to Jenn for excellent service!
