Very clean restaurant. Best Chalet chicken I have ever had. My waitress was so attentive and friendly. I will definitely go back when in town.

Cooks and servers (apart from front of house management) are amazing, management not so much. Consistently understaffs and is not willing to bring in more servers on a busy night which leads to lengthy and slow service (which is not the servers intention). Management is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I believe the food and service is good for the most part because of the people who work there, but not who manages it. I would not recommend working there as a server, unless you want to be not be appreciated for your hard work.

This quaint Swiss chalet is cozy and had very good service. We arrived as a large group without a reservation and they quickly accommodated us. Our server was very friendly, bilingual and attentive. Great family restaurant.

Online order sent without sauce etc (beef). Called and asked for some. Did not come. Waited 30 minutes. Finally started eating baked potato and it’s rotten in two places. Called and was passed all over the place in call centre then to dale at Swiss who said she’d send new order…..still waiting…..was expensive and no food in house because I’ve just moved in.update. Order just received and alas only soggy fries arrived at 7:20pm while the original order came just after 6:00pm. Called back and they said they’d send new order (again) a bit frustrating

Visiting family in Elliot Lake and this was the largest portion I have had at Swiss Chalet in a long time. I couldn't finish my fries and quarter chicken had lots of meat. Pleasantly surprised!
Food was great we had the full dinner. The poutine is rather disgusting but the chicken was cooked to perfection and the other food was quite satisfactory

I spent 110$ for the food to be complete trash ! Our poutines had NO gravy. My son’s pizza was burnt. The loaded potatoe was hard and uncooked. First and last time I order from Elliot lake Swiss chalet !

We were in the area house hunting. Took kids there for lunch. Upon walking in the place was empty. No customers, no staff. Anywhere. After waiting several minutes we had to go to the back to the kitchen and find a staff to help us. A kitchen staff came out and could not find the waitress anywhere. He told us to pick a spot while he finds her. She was outside at the food truck. She finally came in and took the kids order as we were still waiting on one adult to arrive. Once the kids orders were in she went back out to the food truck. We needed assistance while she was gone but took care of it ourselves and got my son a new colouring page. She eventually came back and Adults ordered chicken, ribs and salads. Ribs were dry and not good. Chicken was very very small and tough. My daughter had the kids chicken and hers was the same. We Didn’t eat much of it. Would have told the waitress but after dropping off the food we didn’t see her again until kids were ready for their ice cream and to get out of there. She never came and checked on us until well after we would have been done eating. We were not about to wait on her to bring us better food. Didn’t take any of the left overs. One of the worst locations we have ever been to. I really should not have left a tip. 3 adult meals, 2 kids meals and pops was over $100. We will not be returning here once we move. The negative reviews on here are accurate!

From hospital Ordered 1st time on line.. in mid 70s with assistance it was awesome .. correct .. and the fix was tasty.. even for extra salad for the following day along with a piece of the pie the help was amazing thank you for a good experience
