Went through the drive thru ordered a sausage n eager combo. Asked to park when no one was behind me. Waited 10 minutes only to find that my sandwich had no sausage on it, the bun was rock hard and the egg was barely cooked. This has to be the worst A&W ever.

Went through the drive thru this evening.. could barely understand the person taking our order. Got a chicken burger and regular burger.. staff sounded annoyed when we asked for the chicken burger and said it would take 3 minutes.. we said no problem. Finished our order and got up to the window. Staff tells us to get a parking spot and drive back around through the drive thru in 4 minutes? Sorry no? Then quickly corrected and said he would walk it out to us after we clearly were frustrated with him asking us to drive back through in 4 minutes. My chicken burger was dried out and the bun was so hard I could tap on it and it made a noise. My hashbrown was well overdone as well. Disappointed.

A&W has become unaffordable and the worst value fast food in Canada. I just spent $80 for 4 teen combos at the elmira location. 6 onion rings per order. The sleeve should be overflowing for that kind of money. 2 of 4 orders were clearly reheated, just a clump of oily breading not even stuck to the onions. Half a slice of bacon per burger. The burgers were way smaller than they used to be, and were rubbery and tasted like cardboard. Most likely reheated too. Pretty sad when the tomato is the star of the burger. Almost $20 per combo after tax and even my 11 year old is still hungry. I expect way more food for that price. And I also expect fresh food, not reheated. Overall a very disappointing visit and we will not be going back anymore. We could have gone for a big burger at a sit down restaurant for cheaper

I've always been pleased with the service and quality of this A&W location.
unlike some other locations, I can expect reproducible food quality whenever I place an order at this Elmira location.
Look it's fast food. It's not healthy, just convenient. But the purpose of franchising is so that the customer can expect the same taste regardless of location. So kudos to this location for adhering to A&W standards.
