With limited dining options downtown, it was nice to see a local restaurant that offered dinner options and drinks. Arthur Street Kitchen and Bar welcomed us with friendly small town service in a spacious and clean restaurant.
The poutine and ribs special here were really delicious. We came in on a Sunday and they had their ribs special which was very reasonable for pricing. The gravy on the poutine was dark and savoury and the fries were perfectly seasoning and a crispy texture! Ribs were perfectly cooked, soft and had a tasty BBQ sauce. We upsized our fries to poutine and were not disappointed! They also offer a 12oz of their house lager for $4.99. We would definitely return here again if we are in Elmira.

Stopped in for lunch. Service was great and food was also really good. Staff was really good and helpful.
Stopped by out of the blue on a road trip. Pleasantly surprised. Food was tasty with large portions and the waitress was excellent.

Came in for lunch and asked a specific question about the daily special on the board. Waitress was unaware and said “your guess is as good as mine” Can’t believe that was her answer. She didn’t even offer to go ask the kitchen?!! She was more interested in looking after the guy sitting at the bar than the other guests. This place won’t last long with this going on.

What a delightful surprise. I ordered the smokey bacon carbonara which came with 2 big pieces of garlic toast. The toast was a perfect accompaniment for the rich creamy carbonara. It was so yummy. Served with a smile and great atmosphere.

I’m not sure that three stars was an honest review. I never tried the food. I had a really well done brochure in my mail box that said free delivery within Elmira. When I called to order I was told they do not offer delivery as of yet. Well again the brochure was well done. I may try again sometime.
Excellent food, great place to meet friends

Had dinner last evening, on the way to a show in Drayton. We had not been to the Arthur Street Kitchen before but had read a number of good reviews. The restaurant was clean and the food was good however the service was a little too 'relaxed' for my liking. We are normally a pretty low maintenance group but the service fell short of even that. The server was a pleasant young woman but she was very 'absent' and seemed not to not to want to bother us with her attentions. We weren't un-happy with the food but will likely give another restaurant a try on our next visit to the area.

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience here. The food arrived slowly and it was not good. The fries were cold and the chicken burger lacked flavour. My husband had the fish burger and it arrived overcooked and very greasy. Hopefully, it was an off night because the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the waitress was friendly.

What have they done?! Under new management and what a change. Smaller portions for the same price. We ordered the portobello mushroom chicken and chicken fingers meal. Veg on the portobello mushroom dinner is now steamed peppers? One piece of broccoli. Used to be warming with broccoli and carrot. The mash is now something resembling old school dinners; tasteless and cold. The chicken fingers used to be real pieces of chicken in batter. They are now chicken strips resembling those from Costco. This restaurant was our favourite place to be. I have never sent a meal back to the kitchen until this visit. We shall not be returning.

Overpriced for what it is and small town vibes- but not in a good way. Feels very cliquey and unwelcoming to anyone who isn’t known by everyone in there
Great menu, fresh food and a good atmosphere!

We were looking for a place to have dinner and watch the blue jays game, in the area to also go to St Jacobs theater. The food was outstanding as was the service. Highly recommend. Reg and Suzanne. Innisfil Ontario. Definitely will be back
