Wow! What a little gem in Elmira.Stopped by here yesterday afternoon, on our way home.Small menu but that is a good thing. Easy to choose, and quick to order. The very friendly and helpful staff member helped me with my order, and she was punctual with her food dispatch. The food is what you would expect, really great fries. The ice cream selection is sometimes limited and usually inconsistent which isn't ideal with picky eating kids. I know it's a seasonal place and I don't want to take too much away, but it would be nice to have consistency considering it's a place the kids ask to go to.
We decided to stop in Cornwall but they didn’t have many options for food. Looked at Loose Caboose and the ey had decent reviews so we decided to stop there, I have to say, of course it won’t be luxury however personally I felt it was quite dirty and hard to communicate with the servers through the dirty glass separating us. 10ish minute waiting time which is decent, felt it might have been...
