First time to wasaga Beach. I went to try this restaurant after looking at the reviews, but not worth it.Ordered Aloo gobhi, matar , the quarter of the dish was filled with oil, and the dish itself was so gritty couldn't even finish it.

Received burned chicken on a takout order. Another time, I submitted an online order …they took the order even though the place was closed. Had to phone a manager the next business day to get a refund. Not the worst flavour but underwhelming and feels very generic. Some stuff like samosas likely not made in house.

Previously, it was surprisingly sweet, which we really liked. This time, it wasn't sweet at all. Not that it was bad, it was just inconsistent with previous times.*The bill was more than anticipated. The website and a poster in the front window advertise that curries were BOGO50% on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. We ordered on a Wednesday but we were charged full price. When I politely contested, the staff person said that the offer was discontinued and that was the end of the conversation.

Delicious Indian food! We ordered dinner for two - butter chicken with garlic naan, Samosa Chutney, Papadams, mango lassis and for dessert the Gulab Jamun and Gajar Ka Halwa for pick up. So easy to order on DoorDash and a lovely person from the restaurant even helped us bring the food to the car! We are definitely going back - Highly recommended!
I gave up on finding good authentic Indian cuisine up north, oh wow am I glad I tried Elm Desi.Grish (the owner) was lovely, cooked a beautiful spread.I can't wait to come back.

Delicious authentic Indian food in downtown Elmvale. Friendly service, and great selection with good descriptions of each dish contained in the menu. Reasonably priced, with online ordering for pickup available. No fancy decor, but homey and comfortable. ???

Absolutely to die for!The food here was so flavorful, and the portion size for the price was out of this world. The place was peaceful and was so serene.Highly recommend getting the naan as a side to any of the curry dishes as it makes a great accompaniment to the masterful flavor profiles.
Vegetarian options: They have an entire section if the menu dedicated to vegetarian options which makes this a wonderful place to bring people with food restrictions. They even had a marker informing customers about dairy free options!

My wife and I order from ElmDesi every few months and have never been dissapointed. The food is always fresh and tastes great! The butter chicken is my go to meal, and the garlic naan and samosa's are very good as well. Would recommend to anyone in the area.No rating for atmosphere as we have always done take out
