I usually try to support local businesses, but my recent visit to this bakery was disappointing. The employees were rude and spoke to customers in a disrespectful manner (they were abrupt and dismissive when I asked questions). The attitude made the whole experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I won’t be returning and hope management addresses their customer service — the food can’t make up for poor treatment.

Definitely a local gem! I stop in regularly for bread, cakes, donuts, tuxedo cake, nanaimo bars. Everything there is delicious, the prices are great, and the staff is friendly. My staff love it when I bring in donuts and lemon loaf for our staff meetings!

We LOVE the Elmvale Bakery (& the lovely owners) - we had heard so much about it and we're so excited to try it when we moved here. Safe to say we have been addicted for the last year, their fresh bread, donuts, pies, sausage rolls, meat pies.. all to die for. But do yourself a favour and get more than a few butteries - they are heavenly. So lucky to have this gem just down the road!
