Definitely a local gem! I stop in regularly for bread, cakes, donuts, tuxedo cake, nanaimo bars. Everything there is delicious, the prices are great, and the staff is friendly. My staff love it when I bring in donuts and lemon loaf for our staff meetings!
We LOVE the Elmvale Bakery (& the lovely owners) - we had heard so much about it and we're so excited to try it when we moved here. Safe to say we have been addicted for the last year, their fresh bread, donuts, pies, sausage rolls, meat pies.. all to die for. But do yourself a favour and get more than a few butteries - they are heavenly. So lucky to have this gem just down the road!
I had been planning to visit this bakery for quite some time, and then the owner/baker was in an accident that left him unable to be on his feet for long. Once the shop reopened I drove to Elmvale and was certainly glad I did! Lovely small-town ambiance, the donuts, pizza bun and other products were outstanding! I will make Elmvale Bakery a regular spot to visit and enjoy!
