The Country Diner

Went in for a group breakfast and the place and food was amazing. We liked everything we had, especially the French toast, pancakes, and poutine. The prices were amazing as well, they do a cute $5 lunch for the school kids and you can tell the owners care Definitely coming back.

Classic diner aestetic, great food at a decent price and friendly staff that make you feel at home.

Fantastic home cooking and staff

Tried this small-town gem for the first time today and couldn’t be more impressed! The service was fast and genuinely friendly, you can tell they care about their customers. Our food came out just as ordered, and absolutely delicious. Prices were very reasonable, especially for the portion sizes. They also sold fresh pie's & soups to go that sounded absolutely amazing.

What really stood out was the personal touch - the owner came out to thank us for stopping by, which made us feel incredibly welcome. It has that classic small-town vibe where everyone’s treated like a neighbour. Love to have this place right down the road! Will definitely be back to try more of their menu.

Went in with a group of 12, fresh from the zoo. Staff were kind, accomadating and and very chill, despite our large group. Food was delicious, cheap, and prepared much faster than we expected from a smaller facility. Awesome place, would definitely recommend. Come hungry.

First time visiting today, I went because I heard about the soup. Amazing Split pea and ham soup, and it was everything I wanted and craved.
The server was great! The owner was amazing! I left happy and satisfied.
I don’t know why I hadn't visited this gem sooner, I’ll be back again.

Got a lot for the price , no wait time at all , and had the quick service possible no waiting for coffee. Refills worth the drive in summer with flea market down the road and elm vale zoo around the corner and can leave out wasaga beach 10 minutes away

My friends and I were on a road trip in June to Simcoe County Museum and we ended up finding The Country Diner which was cozy the staff were amazing - food was good - 😋
