Small space small tables but the service was excellent and food tasty.
The only improvement I could suggest is home fries done on a flat top and not deep fryer.

Love these mom and pop diners! Never got a chance yet to try their main courses, having just gone in for something light following a bike ride - smoked bbq brisket soup and rye toast, and took a full coconut cream pie home - everything tasted amazing. Especially that soup! Great friendly atmosphere and very reasonable prices. My whole meal and pie, and chocolate milk came up to 30$ - full pies are 20$. Let’s keep these lovely diners going!!

This diner is comfort on a plate. You can tell every dish is made with love & pride, the owner is also the chef, and it shows in every bite. He made sure to come out & greet us when we sat, as well as when we left! Service is beyond friendly, and the food just makes you happy. If you’re looking for a place where the food is made with heart, this is it.

WOW.

Without a doubt, the most phenomenal “hole-in-the-wall” I’ve had the pleasure of eating at. The service and attention from both the kitchen and front end staff was unmatched by any restaurant I have ever been to. The front end staff was friendly, humorous and attentive.

The food. THE FOOD. I had the breakfast poutine (with hollandaise, shoutout to the chef on Sunday - nailed it.) Every bite was better than the one prior.

I would say, if you are within a 45 minute drive of this establishment, it is WELL worth your time and effort (and the small wait, they are quite small!) to make your way for Breakfast.

Tl;dr - 100% would recommend. Flawless all around.

This is the real deal, a truly classic diner 🌟 10/10 !! Homestyle comfort food and so much variety / daily specials 🙌 Mushroom soup, perogies, breakfast sandwiches and poutine are just a few must haves. And when liver and onions is on the menu, the people know. Friendly, fast and delicious! Thank you! We’ll be back again and again 🤗

Had an amazing experience at The Country Dinner! I tried the smash burger, breakfast platter, and pancakes.. everything was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, and the flavors were spot on.

A special shoutout to Pam, who served us with such warmth and friendliness. She made us feel right at home and really added to the overall experience.

Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for great food and even better service. Will definitely be back!
