I’m a local resident and had table a booked for a family birthday celebration as we have eaten here frequently and thought a great option
Had a reservation for 9 family members which I was told would be on 2 tables which was more than fine. On arrival I asked to accommodate 1 more person. Making it 10. 5 on each table (4 and then 1 on each end).
At this request the front staff was rude complaining and not welcoming or friendly stating it was difficult enough to put 9 together.
My extra guest ended up leaving as was embarrassing in front of all customers without no attempt to accommodate and kept asking what I would like to do.
Rudeness to your clients is not the way to do business and does not create a welcoming atmosphere. Had the tables not all been pushed together across the back and left as we were told 2 tables it could have worked.

Had tradional French toast rather tasteless. Husband had toasted tomato bacon sandwich on rye with tomato basil soup which was delicious.

It’s an all day breakfast diner that has basic decor, is clean and is fast. The kitchen is at the front and has a counter and there are tables in the front, outside as well as in the back past the kitchen. There is Elora memorabilia on the walls. There is a beautiful public garden out front with fresh flowers and a tree. The food was spot on, over easy eggs were perfect for gluten-free toast dipping. Same eggs were on the corn tortilla huevos rancheros. We went on a Sat morning before 10am and it was packed with locals. It seems to be run by two people, the cook with an apprentice and a single server. The server was overwhelmed when the restaurant was full inside and out and the cook and apprentice were clearing tables. It’s really too many tables for one person to handle. Perhaps someone didn’t show up for work?

Suggestions would be: have a casual/flexible labour bus/clearer/runner during busy periods to bus tables and run food to tables. Welcome guests with a smile and take time to get to know them.

Parking: Free street parking for 3 hours.

We had such a great brunch here. I had the breakfast burrito and my husband had the eggs and Peameal bacon breakfast. Everything was delicious! The place is very small and we were lucky to get a table in the front section. I would definitely come here again.
