e popped in here for Sunday morning breakfast with no reservation and we were able to be seated. The breakfast is homestyle and made in house. The waitress was nice and to pay you take your bill to the front counter.
My husband had the Huavos Rancheros which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had the two eggs your way with back bacon. The food was delicious and high quality. The prices were incredibly reasonable.
The restaurant is not fancy by any means, however, it is the perfect breakfast spot for anyone visiting Elora!

They are just a loverly establishment, and they serve halfs of grapefruit with brown sugar baby :) dependable service and friendly staff :) our go to place..

i am a local that has been coming in here on and off for years now. i would never give a complaint about their food, it’s delicious and get their coffee! the only problem in there is the service. there is one lady in there that had a very awkward conversation with me and my friend that sat down to order. made us feel uncomfortable and then the questions we asked her about the food, she had no idea. she didn’t go to anyone to find out a answer ethier, really frustrating. i get it we all have our days, but really? will keep coming here, but only for the food.

Extremely slow and poor service. We went to Box Social for breakfast. We had to remind staff several times to get their attention for a menu, to take our order and then waited over 20 minutes for coffee and an hour for our food. Food was mediocre at best. There are several better options in town.

Food was ok eggs Benedict with salmon had very little salmon almost nothing. Other plates were served with very little potatoes. Only one server and one cook . Place needs a big scrub . Ceiling was covered in dust not ok

I came in on a Wednesday morning around 11:00am and ordered a classic breakfast (2 eggs, ham, and toast), 1 waffle with a parfait at 11:11. Now it’s 11:48am and our breakfast still hadn’t arrived. Meanwhile, a customer who came in well after me ordered the exact same classic breakfast, and her meal was brought out at 11:40 am before ours.
When I asked the staff about the delay, the only explanation given was “it’s just been a busy packed day,” even though the restaurant was far from full at that time. No apology, no effort to make it right, and no clear reason why my order was skipped over.
Watching others be served the same meal faster than me was frustrating and disappointing. Waiting over 35 minutes for a simple breakfast order is unacceptable, especially when others who arrive later are prioritized.
Overall, poor service, lack of communication, and a really disappointing experience. I will not be coming back and would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a reliable or respectful dining experience.

I really love this place. Great food, very reasonable prices, and good service. I actually eat all of the potatoes that come with my breakfast, and at other places I often just push them to the side. Good option for gluten free folks too, as they have gluten free bread, and will even make gluten free french toast.
