I never imagined I would find a small, artisanal bakery from the last century, in a picturesque tourist town full of stories in each of its streets and shops. There honey is famous for its purity

There were four young ladies needing dough at a table just behind the counter. They were singing their hearts out. Do a song on the radio. Made my day. The cookie was good too.

Every town needs a rustic little bakery like this. Worth the visit even just to get the canelés! Go early to make sure you get a good selection.
Great place to get some specialty bread.

This is a really nice gem. Terrific staff and beautiful breads and pastries. Bought a canelé, cranberry scone, apple turnover, chocolate brownie and a sourdough baguette. Really nicely baked - scones light and fluffy instead of hard and stodgy. Strongly recommend if you’re in the area.

This is a must-visit for a quick bite to eat for breakfast when you’re in town (or company nearby). There isn’t any indoor seating, so you should plan to takeaway and eat nearby. We ordered three things: a cinnamon roll, a cranberry currant scone, and a potato onion pastry. The cinnamon roll is a must — by far the best thing on the menu. The potato onion pastry was super oily on the flip side and it wasn’t the best. Try a few things. You’ll be sure to find something you like!

Wonderful little bakery in a quaint, wonderful little town. We stopped in for a couple of quick snacks and some bread for dinner, then came back the next day to pick up more bread for a picnic. I chose the sourdough, which also happened to be their gluten-free-friendly option.
There are some desserts too—not much, but enough to tempt you.
I’m not sure how many other gluten or celiac-friendly choices they carry, but it’s worth asking when you visit. And it is suggested that you visit—this bakery is cute.

I highly recommend this bakery. Although they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, they reopen on Wednesday. It was well worth the wait to stop in before heading home. I tried the roasted pepper and bacon pastry, the Bumberry brioche bun, the rosemary focaccia, and the seeded sourdough, each one was absolutely outstanding! The gentleman behind the counter was incredibly kind and helpful, which made the experience even better. My 2 toddlers devoured the pastries as well! This is a spot I would 100% recommend visiting while in Elora! :)

Fantastic cinnamon buns! Not an overly sweet dough and perfectly balanced letting the icing carry the sweet side. They were still warm when I came in around 9am. It would be nice to have some unfrosted ones to select from as well. Having moved in nearby I’ll be a weekly regular for sure!

We went there a bit late and there wasn't much bread left. We bought banana choco walnut cake, foccacia and chocolate brownie. The bread was soft and tasty. The banana cake was not too sweet. And the chocolate in brownie was very intense. Recommended!!!
