Service wasn’t stellar given how empty the restaurant was. I wasn’t thrilled my pop was in a plastic cup. I also really didn’t appreciate your tiny Individual portions of ketchup, it’s pretty standard to have a bottle on the table especially if you’re serving fries. There were also fruit flys hovering throughout our entire meal.

Extremely slow. Expensive considering the quality of food and service.

Used to go here all the time but recently the service has gone down substantially. Went in today and spent an hour waiting just to be told it would take another 15-30 minutes to get two omelettes because they were prioritizing a party of 50 people. Decided to leave and our waitress intended to charge us for a coffee and tea even though we had waited unreasonably long and didn’t even get our food. If a business can’t handle a party plus their dining room they should be closing the dining room or declining the party

We were planning to eat in downtown Elora after visiting the Christmas Market; however, not realizing that everyone here eats around 5:30. Every single restaurant was packed with wait time over 1.5 hours. So, we came across this family diner.

Came in with three little kids, diner was very busy as well. But we didn't have to wait. The food was very good comfy food, which was a pleaser to the little ones and adult in the chill night. We didn't have to wait for long for the food to come. Every staff at the restaurant was amazing.

I am sure next time when we return to Elora for another visit, we will come back to this place.

Another lovely visit to the Gorge Country Kitchen today. Delicious food that feels like it was homemade just for you, enjoyed with a loved one and paired with great service. What could be better than that? Oh!....probably the shared banana split prepared by our fabulous server! Thanks for letting us be your first banana split! It was perfection!

We choose this restaurant away from the downtown to avoid the long wait times on a busy Sunday afternoon. Simple diner food fare. While we found the service very good, the food was average. Not great but not bad. My friends said the burgers could be seasoned better. I had the beef dip. It was a little dry and overcooked but still good. Food arrived quickly and was inexpensive.

Gorge Country Kitchen is fantastic! Stopped in for a meal and everything—from the friendly service to the home-style comfort food—was perfect. Portions were generous, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and you can tell they put real care into every dish. One of those places you instantly want to come back to.

Sorry, but it was pretty bad.

Service was good. Food was bad. Low quality, and very bland.

Gorge Country Kitchen offers a cozy, family-style atmosphere with hearty, home-cooked meals that truly satisfy. The breakfast options are especially popular, with generous portions and friendly service. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, making it a local favorite for weekend brunch. Overall, it’s a warm and welcoming spot that feels like dining at a friend’s home.

Great spot to quell the hunger after a long hike at The Gorge! Modest prices for some good homestyle cooking! Flavors were there and the service was on par! Will come back to this place for sure

Came to Gorge on our way home from Sauble Beach. Never been before. Waitress Shelby was extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations. Ordered the Club sandwich and Turkey Cranberry Club. Both sandwiches came and were delicious. Not processed meat! Totally enjoyed our meal! We had stopped at another restaurant initially on our way home. Got drinks and waited 20 minutes to order so we offered to pay for the drinks and left. Glad we did. Next time in the area our stop will be at The Gorge!

The Gorge Kitchen is pretty good. They have an extensive menu, with many dietary options. The food is okay- we have only ever had breakfast- and the service is very friendly. It is however, very very slow, which is fine. You need to be prepared to wait for your meals, especially when visiting on the weekends. It took about 35-45 minutes after ordering. We were all pleased with the meals, but it just takes long.

This was our first visit and we were very pleased with everything. There was a small line but we were seated very quickly. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone!
