We ordered two pastas, and both of them were tasteless and one arrived a little cold.
The pizza was good but with the edges burned.
The cocktails were really good.
If you pay a considerable amount I hope to receive something good. Disappointing

We were a table of 4 for a Saturday afternoon. For two of our food orders and one drink, the server came back to say 'unfortunately we are out of that'. (These were things listed on the menu; not special orders.) The food was fine; the server was nice. We noticed ourselves that they automatically added an 18% gratuity. Apparently it's what they do for groups of 4 or more (which we weren't aware of ahead of time. Maybe it's in the menu somewhere, but we didn't notice, so that's on us, but it certainly wasn't obvious anywhere). That would've been ok except when we went to pay with our cards, the machine then prompts you to tip again. We could've been nailed for more than a double-tip, had we not noticed the bills ahead of time. That really left a bad taste. Yes, there's an option for a zero tip if you can find it and yes, servers deserve to be paid a living wage... but if the tip is already included, perhaps the server should just zero it out before turning the machine to the customer.

Waited two hours for our food. Manager was incredibly rude and claimed our 6 person table was too many people, but we watched several tables of 4-5 come and go while we waited. All the waiters and bussers were lovely, but the manager absolutely needs an attitude check.

Honestly horrible service from the manager, we were here for two hours we never got our food. The Irish waiter was lovely but a completely awful experience the manager had an awful attitude. The food was underwhelming and there was hair in my food.

We had a reservation for 6 people for a bachelorette party and waited 2 hours for our food. It was not busy. When we tried to ask the manager where our food was she abruptly told us that they ‘don’t compensate’. It’s clear that this happens often. It derailed the night and wrecked everyone’s moods. We ended up taking the (mediocre and expensive) food to go because it was too cold to keep sitting outside. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Had a reservation and waited 2 h for food at a time when it wasn't busy and watched 4 tables go in the same time. When we brought this up to the manager we faced a rude attitude and we're immediately told they don't do comps. Quite awful service.

I was drawn to La Fontana by the enticing photos of their dishes, but my experience was deeply disappointing. Many items on the menu that I saw in reviews were unavailable, leaving us with very few options—just pizza, pasta, and a few starters.
The first dish we ordered, the house spring salad, was extremely underwhelming. It consisted of only lettuce and a few nuts, which unfortunately tasted rancid. Both my mother and I could detect a moldy flavor in the nuts.
The wood-fired pizza was equally disappointing. It was one of the worst I've ever had—bland, poorly seasoned, and accompanied by very few toppings. I can't help but wonder if the poor quality was because we complained about the salad and requested a replacement.
The pizza took a long time to finish, and our carbonara pasta arrived only afterward, which was even worse. It lacked cheese, had no toppings, and looked nothing like the pictures I'd seen in reviews.
To top it off, we were hit with a mandatory 18% service charge for this deeply unsatisfactory meal. Overall, my experience at La Fontana was one of the worst I've had at an Italian restaurant, and I can't recommend it to anyone.

Love this spot! Amazing food and great staff. The pasta is so fresh and flavourful. Highly recommend this cute spot in Elora.

They offer any Pizza with vegan cheese for 5$ extra and there are also two pasta options, which can be made vegan. I had a pasta with Cale pesto, which was okay, but nothing special. The staff is friendly though and we had a nice seat outside near the river.

This was the 3rd time here, over 1 hour to get food and then cold. Then they have the balls to automatically add the gratuity to the bill ridiculous!! Will never go back. Stay away from here.

This is an outstanding caring restaurant. They do so many things right. Local, fresh food prepared daily. No up charge gluten friendly options. Delicious. This would be my first stop on a return visit to Elora.
They were out of pastas do we only had pizzas to try and pizzas were good. Good outdoor experience but gazebos should be cleaned often as they were webs and all above our head. after you meal you can enjoy a beautiful swing and click some photos

The restaurant was good. We’ve eaten there before and so we are two for two in that department. What we were not prepared for was the laundromat across the street having our car towed. So, a word to the wise find another part of town to park and perhaps to dine.
