Suddenly cancelled our reservation with no reason. Very disappointing and speaks to their service!

La Fontana sits on the river bank and needless to say the atmosphere is incredible. However, the mothers day brunch was a total train wreck. The bacon was way undercooked and looked raw, lasagna was cold, eggs were cold, wonder bread for the french toast. The fruit salad wasn't even strained from the obvious store bought cans. They didnt have the right hotplates to keep the food warm.I went to get some French toast but they ran out of plates. Just total chaos.I will add the musician was great,Stay clear of La Fontana for Mothers Day Brunch.

We went here for the Mother’s Day brunch. The staff was very friendly. The live music was great and the setting was awesome. However the food was very disappointing. There was good potential there but all of the hot brunch food was very cold. Only the French toast being made as it was ordered was warm. There was also no dessert table- only some little grocery store sugar donuts on a stand.

Mother’s Day Buffet- disappointing except for the lasagna which I would give a 4. Buffet was bagels, cut up French toast, potatoe salad, yogurt, spring salad, focaccia, a small sad looking charcuterie board, blueberry muffins. Hot food was actually cold scrambled eggs, meat or veggie lasagna, paella and potatoes and for dessert powdered mini donuts. Truly a disappointing meal for the price. We could not order entrees or different appetizers but those would have probably been better. As should have followed instincts to leave once we walked in. Sorry couldn’t review more positively.

Very disappointing experience. The food was way too expensive considering the quality and that it was just a brunch. You can get a cold and soggy meal along with some lukewarm coffee, how appetizing! ☹️ The only thing that made it bearable was the guitar player that gave us some nice music.

Drove from out of town for Mother's Day. Table setting on back patio was very pretty. Setting is very charming. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The brunch consisted of stale bagels and hard muffins, watery scrambled eggs (cold), undercooked congealed bacon (cold), cold lasagna, cold frittata, cold watery sausages(undercooked) and wonder bread made to order french toast. Fruit salad from a jug, unstrained and sitting in water. No plates, toaster didn't work. No lemon for salmon. So disappointing...with a bit more care or effort this brunch could have been something. But honestly worse than a budget hotel continental breakfast.

A wonderful, cozy and quaint restaurant located in the heart of Elora. Service is exceptional and the food generously portioned and incredibly well seasoned and flavourful. They offer several alcoholic and non alcoholic options and a patio overlooking the river awaits diners in the warmer weather.

We attended a pasta making class, and had the best time. An incredible atmosphere, and exquisite food!

We went as a group of 7 for lunch and were completely underwhelmed by the food we were served. The food lacked flavour and we felt everything was undercooked including meat. Definitely won't recommend this place to anyone as we had to go somewhere else to get more food and lose the taste of the food we had at this place. Atmosphere and service were decent.

I recently dined here with my family and unfortunately, it was far from a pleasant experience. Our anticipation for a delightful evening quickly turned into disappointment.Firstly, we ordered the burrata appetizer to share amongst four people, but to our dismay, the portion size was far too small for a reasonable sharing. To compound our dissatisfaction, the pizzas we ordered were not only incorrect in terms of toppings (no artichokes or spinach on the SPINACH DIP pizza) but also arrived at our table visibly burnt. This compromised the taste and overall appeal of the dishes.Additionally, the pasta we ordered lacked the desired flavor, leaving us underwhelmed and unsatisfied.Adding to our frustration, a couple who had placed their order before us received their food a whopping 30 minutes after we did, and only 5 minutes prior to the restaurant closing. This delay further disrupted our dining experience and left us feeling disregarded as customers. This is not what we were expecting and I would not come back here.

We did a pasta-making class with Dennis and had the best time! The evening started with charcuterie and wine. Then we each got to make a generous portion of pasta, choose the type, and then choose the sauce. Highly recommend! Dennis was so great with everyone. Spent time with each person and was very patient. Would definitely come back for dinner!

Arrived to enjoy Eloralicious and ended up leaving without eating. Service was slow, items for cocktails and beer not available and the special menu was incorrectly explained by the waitress who was obviously not properly informed. Made the special menu actually more expensive than off the regular menu. Spoke to the owner who was obviously busy but when asked he did explain but didn’t support his staff but instead was curt and in no way apologetic. Don’t blame the staff, it starts at the top with proper training.

Pizza was lacking flavour , ceaser salad was very bland. The atmosphere is different than most , we were upstairs in a crammed tight bedroom that did not feel of a restaurant. Waitress was pleasant but we waited 50 minutes for pizza. I had higher expectations , definitely will not be back.
