Amazing spot felt like an old town pub with great ambiance. The staff was extremely polite and provided us with suggestions as to what will best suit us. Definitely visit if you can.

We had a very upsetting experience here. When we asked to buy water, we were told they didn’t have bottled water, and they also refused to provide any take-out beverages. We tried to get a table but were told everything was reserved.
When we returned about an hour later, the same four tables were still empty. The way the staff spoke to us felt dismissive and disrespectful, and the treatment we received made us feel singled out and uncomfortable — to the point where it felt like we were being treated differently than other customers, the experience came across as discriminatory.
Because of how we were treated, we won’t be returning or giving them our business.

Terrible pub, tried to walk in and they had 4 empty tables that they told us were 'reserved', so we left and came back and hour later. The same 4 tables were still empty, when we asked what the deal was they said they had a 90 minute hold period for their reservations. Absolutely ridiculous to say they hold tables for 90 minutes for under reservations. We asked for a glass of water before we left and they denied us that as well. Terrible customer service. Terrible people skills. Absolutely no compassion or respect. Absolutely do not recommend anyone give them business

What a delight!!! With a toddler and infant in tow, we walked into the Shepherd’s Pub to grab a bite and to get out the cold. The food was outstanding - we ordered the lamb poutine, an east coast inspired donair and were blown away by the flavour and size of the portions. The servers were wonderful and were extremely efficient. We’ll definitely visit here again!

ANDREW WAS OUR WAITER..HE HAD ALOT OF ENERGY AND WAS VERY PLEASANT We had the fish and chips 2pc (should include 2 tarters for free) but coleslaw was gross..too mushy, no crunch (store bought) French onion soup maybe add alittle more cheese but was tasty Pea soup was yummy Would Definitely Return

I have been drinking Guinness for over 50 years and have never seen so much care and attention to detail that Diana our waitress/bartender made when pouring my pints, and I have had many pints in Ireland, Scotland and Canada. It was truly the perfect pint. Plus her service and personality were great, rest of the staff and food were great ; it made for a memorable day for our visit to Elora for my wife's birthday.

Amazing vegan ceasar salad, and hits the spot mashed potatoes, gravy, and beyond meat sausages- huge portions so I didn’t dare check out the vegan dessert option - next time!
