owner of the place looks like he's on something and the food was overpriced slop
The worst dining experience I’ve had in Elora. My wife and I had a brunch reservation for 10:30 am. Many of our first ordered dishes did not arrive till after 11:30. They started the brunch with an assortment of rolls. They were completely out of croissants and the rolls were still frozen inside. They didn’t have orange juice and a few major items on their brunch menu. The poutine came with no cheese (how is that poutine?) as well as the fries being cooked in dirty oil and still hard yet cold. My pulled pork with caramelized onion slider never came. When I asked I immediately got an ICE cold burger slider that was utterly disgusting. One bite and it took away my appetite away. I feel cheated with what was offered and severely undelivered. Please avoid this brunch if you can. Better options in town. (See photo for what they call the Badley Steakhouse Slider - pulled pork, caramelized onion, bbq sauce)

We booked reservations on open table Friday, February 14th at 8pm. When we arrived there were 4 other couples waiting. We waited 10 min. There was no host at the counter. The other couples said they also booked for 8pm. We left to try to find another restaurant. Then we went back about 10 min later
there were more couples packed at the entry inside waiting. Still no one came to the host counter. This was our first time visiting Elora, not impressed. This was an awful experience.

My husband and I have been excited for months to try brunch at this local spot, and finally had a kid-free Sunday morning to do so. The menu online looked incredible and we were looking forward to a nice morning out together.
Holy Nelly, don't waste your money. English Breakfast tea was featured on the menu, but not available. Coffee was available (though if it's the only hot beverage available you need more than one carafe going at a time), but no decaf. The juice included was all room temp, never cold. We were seated and it took half an hour JUST to get our "pastry board", which consisted of one slice of very dry toast, two teeny buns (which, tbh, was THE best part of our entire brunch), and two overbaked scones. Half an hour, just to get that - five pieces of bread and some jam, butter, and cream. Half an hour!
This style brunch allows you to order little plates off their menu, with a few items (pancakes, bread pudding - which wasn't available - and cereals) available as a buffet. I've been to a few brunches like this and service is generally quick; order a few little plates, get your food shortly after, order more when the plates arrive, etc. But it takes HALF AN HOUR just to get one or two little plates here. After being here for an hour and only having a few plates brought to us, we were frustrated and just wanted to leave. There was maybe 2-4 tables besides ours; it's not like the place was abundantly busy. I expect it to take up to half an hour to have a full meal brought to a table when at a restaurant, not half an hour for these teeny tiny plates - especially when it's expected each table will continue to order additional plates.
And when the food did arrive? An absolute disappointment. The "Spanish omelet" with market veggies? Ha, yeah, the vegetable in the omelet is potato. I wish I had a photo. It was literally a scrambled egg baked in a cute little cast iron skillet with potato chunks thrown in. My husband tried to make light of it and called it an Irish omlet. It was also burnt to a crisp, almost inedible (we are the half that was least burnt). In fact, almost everything we ordered was burnt or overcooked. The slider was a joke; it's not a slider, it's half a burger bun with pork fat on it (yes, fat - pure fat. I get that pulled pork is "fatty", but I was literally chewing on pure fat). The steak for the skillet was chewy, though had the best flavour of anything we ordered...for the chicken and corn bread, the chicken was VASTLY overcooked...the fruit compote by the pancakes was canned jam and the chocolate sauce was chocolate milk syrup...the "salsa" with the eggs benny was just some raw red onion thrown on the plate...like it seriously would have been laughable if it hadn't been SUCH a disappointment.
Honestly, I felt like we wasted our time and our money trying this out. Holy smokes, absolutely awful!!

Very disappointed. Went here for birthday brunch, and I guess they changed a lot and didn't have much recent brunch reviews. It took the food way too long to get to the table, the dishes were way smaller than they used to be (example: steak and egg is 3 small slices of steak with 1 egg), poached eggs were overdone like hardboiled eggs, no salads anymore, the "spanish omelette" with "market vegetables" was literally only potato cubes and so stuck to the skillet we couldn't even pick it out of there. Bread basket has a few dry pieces with 2 soft small buns.
Washroom had a leak and walls and floors so dirty.
The kitchen staff had hair in their face, looked like bunch of kids with no idea what they're doing.. I understand the price isn't too high, but it used to be much much better. Been to quite a few brunch places with similar price points and way better food, this was definitely not a good experience and it just felt like a waste of money.
And we are not people who choose to complain much, with a lot of restaurant work and restaurant managing experience so the challenges are understood, but this is just highly disappointing and could be (and has been) so much better, it's a shame.
At least the decor in most of the place looks good and the waiting staff was nice.

- Star for staff and friendly service. Our waitress was great.
- another star for flavours. The flavour of the food was very good.
Where it falls short is we ordered a rib eye steak.
If you go to the keg you’d spend the same amount of money on a rib eye steak. However the difference is tremendous.
Rib eye steak in the Keg is thick and plentiful.
The ribeye steak here was sooooo smallll and thin.
Because of thin it was a medium rare, which is what we wanted, was difficult to execute. My steak was more well done than medium rare.
High priced meal for not a lot of steak, with 2 small carrots.

Had brunch with friends at 12pm- brunch goes till 3
Took 1 hour to get our first plate. I had 1.5 small plates in 2 hours
I reached out by email to the manager 2x with no response. Also spoke with “manager of the day” when there to convey our experience to the manager who was not there
They were out of :
Bacon ( for brunch??)
Gave us back bacon that they cooked too much for another table
Coffee was empty
Juice glasses empty
Coffee cups empty
No cream for scones
Asked several times for jam
Croissants were overcooked near burnt
No bread pudding
Deep fried wantons substitute for tortilla chips
Staff worked to do their best but didn’t come to our table very much, they stood waiting for food to come out .
Girl behind bar had a real attitude when we asked for cups and glasses…. She said “in a minute”
When the “ manager of the day” asked what could she do to make it right . I said you tell me what to do to make right for me. She said: would you like dessert?
Dessert? I hadn’t had enough brunch!!
They gave us 1 dessert to go for the 4 of us .
It was embarrassing to take friends there and have this experience.
Waitress apologized and hoped we would come back, maybe not for brunch but maybe lunch or dinner
I don’t think we will go back.

Absolutely appalling! We had never eaten here before so decided to try the unlimited Sunday brunch. It ruined our day! The pastry basket which was supposed to arrive as soon as we were seated, arrived 20 minutes later. It was ok, but nothing special. We ordered 2 dishes each and after 30 minutes 1 dry, shriveled pulled pork slider arrived. There were no caramelized onion nor BBQ sauce as advertised. Just dry cold pulled pork on a very dry bun that looked like it had been trampled! That was it. Nothing else arrived. After an hour we told our waitress we were leaving and as we hadn’t had even a fraction of our unlimited meal, we were not paying. She agreed and apologised, but that was it. More than an hour after arriving we left hungry, extremely disappointed and shocked at the awful service.
Seriously, if you want to ruin your day, try to eat here.
Badly managed, awful food, and misadvertising. The all you can eat brunch is a joke.
I never write bad reviews, but I couldn’t let this one pass. Sorry, but that’s the truth. Terrible experience.

Ran out of steak. Service was worse than McDonald's had to wait at least ten minutes for food for each person to come out. Appetizer was burnt told and when exchanged for properly cooked appetizer was completely different from the first burnt piece of crap. Do not go here just got to a fast food joint.

Busy night in town, but no excuse for not having 3 or 4 menu items and poor service. This restaurant doesn’t have many tables and wasn’t full, despite telling people over the phone and at the door that they were fully booked. Eight buns brought to our table of nine and when we requested more we were told no. Cold coffee and burnt toast. Burgers were pretty good, but $30?!?! And then gratuity was automatically added to the bill. Won’t be going back.

My daughter and I stopped by for lunch. We were completely ignored so I guess they don't want customers?

The food is mediocre, and the service is terrible. The waitress even responded rudely when we asked why the bread basket was taking so long.
The place isn’t ugly, but it’s nothing special either.
Don’t bother coming here—there are plenty of nicer places in Elora. Go somewhere else.
