We had an incredible bottomless brunch at The Badley. The team- incredible, atmosphere- amazing. We had 3 children with us and at the location isn’t huge they felt right at home.Pastry baskets are fresh and crisp. Coffee and juice (help yourself) and it was awesome… not to mention with break (including juice) for kids only $15 it felt like great value for them. The entrees, next level, steals and eggs, tomato cheese omelette, smoked salmon crostini, beer and cheese dip, sliders and breakfast meatballs… cooked to perfection. We choose one of eat and shared between our table of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids). Simply put this is a fab spot for family or date brunch!!! (So good no pictures we were too busy eating)

As a local here in Elora for most of my life The Badley was just what we needed. A steakhouse and more with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Thank you Jeffrey for adding more class to Elora as well as acknowledging a Li'll bit of history. The bridge will live on and so will your restaurant. Cheers to good wine and great steaks shared with local friends.

Went here to celebrate with my partner in February. We had a starter, and two mains (10oz NY steak and fancy fish and chips). the food was absolutely fantastic. My partners fancy fish and chips appeared "small" and i was worried it would not be enough. This was easily discredited when she could barely finish her meal (aside from one bite for me!). Everything was delicious and we were given a nice corner view table overlooking the town. We look forward to our next visit.

Booked a reservation for the 1st time here for our anniversary at 8pm. Not much so can atmosphere. Service was so extremely slow. Table next to us was waiting well over an hour and hadn’t received their appetizers. We noticed they treated their server so politely even still. Their server seemed to have brought them over what looked like a plate of toast and offered them free dessert because of them waiting so long for their appetizers and then mains. A table on the other side of us said their food was cold when it did come out. We were so thrown off by this and had already been waiting ourselves an hour. We decided to pay for our drinks and said we were leaving, we were starving. Restaurant was empty. Manager/ owner walked out and yelled at us for wanting to leave instead of acknowledging the issue on their end and apologizing.Would have expected better service for a “steakhouse”.

What a disappointment. $62 for a glass of wine and a steak. They dont offer horseradish but did manage to give me a sliver. It had zero flavour and was consumed in 2 bites. I ordered mashed potatoes but they were cold. By the time i got new potatoes i was done eating. I had to ask for ground pepper and they dont offer sea salt. All you get is salt and pepper shakers. The steak was really salty. Not worth the price and i found the atmosphere gloomy. Pass this one by, they pretend to be high end but fail miserably

Servers are friendly and attentive but the kitchen let us down big time. My dining partner ordered the Badley Burger and it came out and I got a bowl of fries to hold me over until they could remake my fish and chips. Well they remade it and over fried frozen fish. The result, charred batter and slimy fish - no thanks.

We arrived at the restaurant at 4:30. Initial service was good. Greeted at the door, seated quickly, ordered and received drinks. Food took until 5;45 to arrive and we were told that our booth was reserved for six so we would have to be done by then. Ordered the fancy fish. Food was good but very small portion of salmon and six French fries for the price. My wife ordered the chicken Parmesan. The chicken was over cooked and dry and the noodles were undercooked. She returned most of her food. Very disappointing.

What an absolute gem of a place! An amazing selection of premium wines and craft beers. Friendly and efficient service. And food that is to die for, I recommend the burgers and Flatbread! Yum! And if you're in a bit of a rush because you're gonna go watch a movie at the nearby theater just let your server know and the cook/owner and his team of absolute rock stars will make sure you're out of the door in plenty of time so you don't miss any of the action!

Friendly service, love this place!! Can’t wait to visit again the next time I’m in town.

Living around Elora we like to support local. We have not been to "The Badley" since it opens, so tonight we went and tried it.Restaurant looks great. The night started off really good. Our waitress telling us the soups etc. We ordered a few drinks and than order our Food. We arrived at the restaurant at 5 pm. Not busy at all. We ordered 4 Apps. All of them were disappointing. Beef Carpaccio you had to look for the meat under all the arugula maybe 4 slices, Beef Tartar only thing you tasted was the mustard ( what a shame) Tuna tartar was o.k. Hot Olives was the best.Order the Fancy Fish ( small Portion) but waitress said this before.. but our food was at least hot. Fish and Chips over cooked and cold fries. The juicy burger was not juicy at all. It was a small over cooked patty what was so dry and cold as well of the fries. The burger were not eaten. We send it back. Table was never cleared proper , glasses left we had to move things to the other table. Not sure if waitress was alone serving. Oh i forgot to say we waited 1 hours for the food after we ordered. Yeah over all not a good experience. Way over priced for the small portions and quality of food we received and restaurant was not even busy . This was a big disappointment for sure

Had the hunters salad for lunch, exactly what I needed. I definitely will come back and try the mushroom maccaronaro and the French onion soup in the future! Thank you!

Came for a work Christmas dinner. Beautiful atmosphere but was very disappointed with my meal considering it was $27 for a small piece of salmon and 6 or 7 large fries. Should have ordered the steak like everyone else! No vegetables included. For the price you think you would get more.Parking: 2 roads closed because of construction near building so you have to walk a bit to get there.

Steak was OK, fries were definitely overcooked. Wife had chicken parm, she said the chicken seemed to be cooked twice and the pasta was overcooked. Will not be returning.
