I’ve been here several times over the years during the summer. I was in Elora recently for the Christmas market and decided to come here for their mussels (have them every time) we decided to stay for dinner. Hugely disappointed. I asked what the feature was and was told, pork tenderloin stuffed with pear and walnuts, served on mashed potatoes. Sounded good so I ordered it. The mashed potatoes were luke warm and lumpy, and the tenderloin was over cooked and dry. I mentioned to the server that I wished they had of told me it was served with carrots and Brussels sprouts because I would rather skip them and not waste food. I was told all the dishes came with Brussels sprouts and carrots. Like I was supposed to know that. 🤨. My mussels weren’t served with carrots or Brussels sprouts. My partner ate a few of the carrots and I almost fell over when I heard the crunch of the carrots from across the table. Not once were we asked if we wanted another drink. Not sure if this place is under new ownership / management. The bathrooms were gross with what seems like Palmolive dish soap for hand soap. The place had space heaters for heat. I’m not sure if it was a manager walking around looking like he should be on the couch, watching Sunday football, wearing track pants, sweat shirt and a baseball hat. Pretty disappointed as we like the summer patio experience in the past. We’ll be exploring other places to eat next time we visit Elora.

Cozy located with beautiful view. The potatoes soup was made from real potatoes with skin which is both are very nutritious and creamy enough, but not overly done. Tasted deliciously. Rib steak wrap was very juicy and luxuriously done by chef, above my expectation. The staff is very pleasant.
Definitely will be back for more delicious menu items in the future!
Fish & Chips were phenomenal!

A cozy place in the basement of an old house. Staff there are very friendly and helpful. We walked in on a busy weekend night after we visited the Xmas market and they managed to arrange a table very quickly.
The menu is not fancy but the food is simple and good.

On Sunday the 26th November we were in Elora and did not have a reservation anywhere and almost every restaurant was full. Luckily, we found the Cellar and we got seated right away.
We had awesome drinks and great service from Emily. We had amazing calamari and we split a large Caesar salad. We already had dinner reservations later so we didn’t get a full meal.
Highly recommend this really Cosy place full of atmosphere. Good job, Emily.

What a great way to end a day in Elora! The food was excellent, the vibe was great, and we couldn't really see the water in the dark but still got to hear the geese. When the temperature dropped we were even offered blankets!

Beautiful patio with river views and incredible food! We had the vegetarian pad Thai, mushroom poutine and penne Alfredo (kids menu). Everything was served so hot and flavourful. Highly recommend.
