Had the eggs Benedict and skillet both were amazing!
A wonderful spot with amazing food and great service-will be back!!
Ordered the classic afternoon tea for two. Service was friendly, but clunky and inattentive. We waited 51 minutes for our food. Sandwiches were completely lacklustre - grocery store quality. Desserts were also lacklustre - low-end buffet quality. Thankfully, the scones were good: warm and tasty. Extremely overpriced for the quality of food (~$50 per person).
Patio was comfortable but dirty. Restaurant interior was fine. Washrooms a bit dirty. Would not recommend.
All the high tea sweet and savory options were sold out even though we reserved a table beforehand a day earlier for high tea, and we drove all the way from Toronto to try it. Would have paid a deposit ahead, and I have in the past for high tea bookings in order to stop no-shows as I appreciate that food costs are very high. Hope everthing is well as it seems to be a very nice place
Food was overpriced and underwhelming. Service was very slow. Decor was cute and keeping with a tea room.
Had a great time, excellent service.
June 8, 2025: Really poor experience. We waited over 45 mins for our food — and all we ordered were sandwiches and when it finally arrived, there was no side included, despite paying $23 for each plate. When we enquired how much longer for our order, staff kept saying “the last two orders are being plated,” but nothing showed up. A nearby table actually left without eating because the wait was so long. We would have left too if we hadn’t paid in advance thinking it would speed things up. It didn’t. No apology, no urgency, just bad service. Definitely not going back.
It was a special event booked via reservation and much anticipated. Upon arriving for our booked time the hostess was less than welcoming, the table we were shown to still needed to be cleaned, we waiting for 20 min to have water, our order taken only to have one of the 3 items on the menu....we waited 50 min for our food.....thankfully another server came and asked if we needed anything-she was very helpful with our tea pots refilled, water refilled and asked us how we were. A second waitress (she was working upstairs) was kind enough to help with us to get the bill sorted and out of there. No will not be returning and no will not be sharing a good review..time and money not well spent

A Bitter Brew: Disappointing Service at The Wild Tart
I was incredibly disappointed with my recent experience at The Wild Tart. While the ambiance and decor are undeniably charming, the service and value proposition left much to be desired.
The high prices for the tea and pastries are justified only if accompanied by exceptional service. Unfortunately, our experience was far from it. We waited an agonizing 15 minutes for our tea and essential accompaniments like milk and sugar. Despite multiple requests, these items were delayed, forcing us to take matters into our own hands.
The lack of attention to detail was further evident when we were left without a simple tea spoon. We had to resort to using cutlery intended for our pastries, a truly bizarre and frustrating situation.
The manager's dismissive attitude and lack of apology added insult to injury. Instead of offering a sincere apology and swift resolution, we were met with indifference.
While I understand that high-end establishments often prioritize ambiance and aesthetics, it's essential to remember that the core of any dining experience is the service. The Wild Tart, unfortunately, fell short in this regard.
I would strongly advise potential patrons to consider their options carefully before choosing this establishment. A steep price tag does not automatically equate to a memorable experience.

We love the wild tart. Best brunch in Elora for sure! And we frequent for other meals as well. Most recently we used their services for private catering for a corporate event and they were incredible to work with. Attention to detail, met our goals, and everyone was so happy with the food.
Amazing!

I went for my mother’s bday and thoroughly enjoyed our delicious afternoon tea experience. We had the Niagara tea which was very sweet and the caramel tea (my mother loved one and I loved the other). It was more than enough food as we got the savoury experience - so I would highly recommend that menu item! The tea and the service was exceptional! I will be back with her again ♥️

The food was ok but the service is TERRIBLE! We waited 45 min for 2 eggs Benedict and a quish (they have them ready) I wondered if they were wating for the animal to lay down the eggs otherwise I couldn't find any other reason 😂.
The patio was neglected and could be 100 times better. I m not sure if I want to go back to this place
