Dong Seng Chinese Food Take Out

After being disappointed months ago I decided to reorder, shrimp foo young again overdone with burnt taste, obviously chicken fried rice was warm up on grill afterwards absorbing that burnt taste. Like it wasn’t enough I counted 3 shrimps in the foo young, chicken fried rice you have to do a search for the chicken. It used to be so good under the previous owner.

Always friendly service. Food is that classic Chinese-Canadian. Tasty and crave quenching. Nice little take-out spot.

Is this a Chinese restaurant? The front desk doesn't speak Mandarin, Cantonese. The meals got weren't the same as I ordered. Apparently beef broccoli is made with mushrooms and onions. Just avoid, this is bad. And the taste is mediocre at best.

I ordered by calling and I was told it will be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant 20 minutes after and I waited one hour in the restaurant before receiving the food. My order was small: chicken fried rice, egg rolls, singapour noodles and beef and brocolis. One of each.

Just meh since the new owners

Don’t tell people food will be ready in 2 hours then we show up and you tell us it will take another 45 minutes and make excuses about how we ordered our food and that’s the reason it’s not ready. This is the second time this has happened and it will be the last time we order here.

We tried this restaurant for the first time since it had changed ownership, not knowing what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised! The food had obviously been freshly made, and all four menu items we had ordered were really good. We are very happy with our experience and look forward to ordering from this new Dong Seng take-out restaurant again.

Don't eat here. Very bad service. Disgruntled employees. They will sell you rancid microwaved food they made weeks ago and charge you thru the roof. Enjoy!

Delicious Cantonese style food with friendly staff and quick service. Highly recommend the eggrolls and chow mein!
