First of all. Thank you for introducing Embrun to something different than pub food and or fast food, it is greatly appreciated.

Food at Uptown was good. I have tried many different Indian restaurants and they are definitely close in concession. Had the family meal - Chicken Korma - Butter Chicken - Saag Paneer & Sahi Paneer. All were well made and hearty - my only suggestion is that they could have had an amp of flavour more. The rice was good and well cooked. The chicken pakora definitely took the cake and was delicious. Would I eat here again, definitely it was really enjoyable - again more fresh and more amplified flavours and it would really set the bar high.

Another exceptional meal last night, blind ordered a few items an top of the usual suspects… everything was excellent. I could just eat Vindaloo and freah Naan and be a happy boy, so good.

Their veg momo is amazingly shaped like modhak… it’s soo full of Flavor, and kulcha and chai ☕️ … 100% recommended
