BEST pizza, burgers, poutine and breakfast! I don't mess around when I want a good take-out meal or dine in breakfast! 100% my go to.
Came in first but proceeded to offer drinks and take orders for the next 2 tables that came in after us, we hadn't even received a menu yet. Decided to leave after that
Literally the weirdest experience. There was only one staff member who had to cook the food, take the orders, clean up the tables and have customers pay. Seeing.him struggle, many customers started helping, including my husband. People were rolling utensils for him, cleaning up the tables, taking orders, serving the food and coffee etc so that the employee could just cook the food. It was nice to see the custo.ers being so kind and helpful but what I didn't appreciate is finding out the owner was just sitting and watching everyone without helping or thanking people for helping.... someone was waiting to pay at one point so I let the owner know and he went to get the employee who was busy cooking to make the customer pay. I can't support a restaurant with an owner who can't support his employees.
Meat-o-Rama!!! After disappointments aplenty of pizza in my area over the past 4 years, we stopped in at the Village Lounge and finally, I get to eat a pizza like it’s supposed to be: meat, meat and more meat all cooked under the cheese!!! Finally found my pizza home! Hands down, the best pizza in the Embrun-Russell area - and super reasonably priced!
Omg! Been looking for a good breakfast place out here in ember for a long time!!! Finally found a place the eggs Benedict with bacon where AMAZING 🤩

Great food. They make a decent pizza and have a great shawarma platter. Pricing is reasonable. They are better suited for take-out than eat-in.

Restaurantji Recommends
Ordered takeout from here, Lamb sovlaki platter....lamb was horrible, cooked to death and full of nerve, dry rice and no dressing on the salad.

It was open on New Years Day and had a fantastic breakfast menu (until 2pm) I recommend the Truckers breakfast. 2 Eggs and all the meats, homefries and toast. It was perfect!Very nice atmosphere for a small town pub and the service is great! I was also surprised to see extra seating upstairs above the bar.

Went there for breakfast, took them 1:30h to get food. Only saw the server 3 times, once at the beginning once we got the food and once to leave. Not to mention the food was not the greatest. Would not recommend.

It is a classic old dive bar/ breakfast place—lots of character and local people. Breakfast was everything that we expected - cooked in bacon grease.Probably an amazing place to have a pint a beer of not too fussy. We tried going on Halloween Saturday around 11 pm and it was closed.
