Food was not bad but the tables with dirty dishes left on the uncleaned tables left a lot to be desired. Over all disappointing especially on light of the other reviews.

Amazing landscape outside.

Usually go for the breakfast poutine (which is great) but decided to try the causeway burger, what a mistake. Inedible. Not to mention it was missing the onion rings and bacon. I’ve had jerky that wasn’t as tough as the patties. Was going to salvage my hunger with the French fries but strike two, undercooked, greasy and tasted of old burnt oil. $20 wasted, I should have taken a photo of my disappointment but that was an afterthought once it went in the dogs bowl. Moving forward I’ll stick with the breakfast poutine.

Breakfast portion was good size. Server was awesome. Warm and very clean. We will be backoften.

Yikes, pretty bad. Stopped in for a couple of coffees and chicken fingers with fries. Simple enough right?
Coffee was barely luke warm and fries were so overcooked that the actual fries were burned out with the hard grease retaining the shape of the fries, no exaggeration!
Chicken fingers not any better. Way overcooked, dried out with a nice hard coating of grease.
Might I suggest you fire the cook! If you can't properly prepare food maybe consider a different career.
Waitress was good very accommodating.

First off the server was great.
Had been looking forward to a repeat to a previous visit. Specially the hot hamburger sandwich.
Under new ownership no bread with burger and gravy. No homemade pies.

Always great breakfast here, service is really nice. There is a patio outside that's beautiful on a nice day. The bathroom is clean and there is a full length mirror outside it - I love that. Definitely check this place out. They have a large menu (including fish).

Was told I couldn’t sit on patio because it was windy but wasn’t windy just overcast with no chance of rain… very disappointing as they just didn’t want to go out themselves to serve me

Stopped in last Saturday while travelling through Bridgenorth for lunch, me and my wife loved both the causeway burger and the view of the lake! Jade was very polite and helpful from the time we walked in until we left, can’t wait to come back next time we are in the area!:)

Good food. Reasonable prices. Mom and Pop type of cooking. (No wheelchair ramp though).

This spot used to be the best breakfast place in the area, but has gone downhill very quickly since new ownership took over a couple years ago. Kitchen is always backed up, with less than average tasting food being served, which unfortunately affects the service but the servers are doing the best they can. We just finished our breakfast, and we were served overcooked/burnt food after waiting a long while for our dishes. It was so bad that the restaurant didn’t charge us for a few items. This place needs to get back to the basics, and serve fresh food. We unfortunately will not be returning.
