I’ve been here many times since I moved to Erin. I brag about this spot to all my family and friends. Unfortunately today, my in laws were visiting and I decided to take them to this bakery I speak to highly about and We had the worst customer service. Young women working there today ( Decemeber 28th around 1pm) was so rude. It was empty in there, yet she made us feel like we’re bothering her. She was so annoyed with my mother in law asking for recommendations on what to try. She was almost raising her voice telling us “TELL ME WHAT U WANT AND HOW MANY” extreamly rude. The other young ladies I usually see there are so sweet and friendly and have such a kind face. However the young girl today was not pleasant to look at the minute we walked in. She was rude. Not welcoming at all. I will not be bringing back any visitors to have that experience again. I hope this was not because we are people colour.. most definitely felt like it

It’s a habit when we pass through Erin to stop Hilton’s bakery. I don’t know how someone write negative reviews, this is one of the best ever bakeries in Ontario. If you have the chance to be around Erin, you need to visit and let your taste buds enjoy the deliciousness of the sweet and bread selections. “You need to eat there”

Yes, it was FOMO that had us enter this store as was curious about the line up we noticed when walking by. Breads and cookies and donuts were being ordered up off the shelves by the dozens while people patiently waited their turn. We were told the apple fritters were a must-have; they were very good. Chocolate chip cookies were okay but it was the mouth watering raisin bread, still warm from the oven, that will have us return. We enjoyed an unbuttered slice in the car and it was eyes- rolled -back -into -your head delicious. Reasonable prices and their long standing history in Erin proves they’re worth the wait in line for a fresh baked treat!

The best Chelsea buns I have had in my life, and I am usually not even a fan
On Oct 23, 2025 in the afternoon I visited the bakery with my family visiting from the UK. We were extremely disappointed and insulted by the attitude and rudeness of the staff. My sister in law asked about the ingredients of a product and the person who was serving said that she didn't know what was in the pie so my sister in law asked if she could find out and the server rolled her eyes and grudgingly said she will find out. She was gone for a long time and returned with her colleague who informed us that they had no idea what is in the pie. So we ended up not buying the pie. This experience was embarrassing for me as I was with my family and my previous experience has been positive. On this day we felt that we were a nuisance for asking about the product. We felt disappointed by the level of customer service.

This bakery is an absolute gem! The staff are always friendly and the food is top-notch. The Chelsea buns are packed with flavour and the oatmeal raison cookies are delicious without being too sweet. I am proud to have this Grade-A bake shop right here in my hometown! 😁👍
