Grilled cheese with potato bacon soup. Bacon chunks surprised me and added substance to the soup. Triple Texas toast slices made up the sandwich, another surprise. Awesome food. When I entered, I saw the freezers with already made entries ready to take home--another day, the lasagna looked very tempting. Pies and cheesecake was the next display--mmmmm supper tempting. Note: Lemon pie was a little sparce of filling. Next was the antiques displaying jams, sauces, and pickles....
Hit and miss. Scroll through the reviews and you’ll see what I mean. This place hinges on the service. The food is consistent and better than what you’d expect from a diner. But the service rotates between exceptionally amazing and, well, not. Highly recommend taking the chance because when the service is turned on, the food is good, and it’ll be worth the money.

This is one of those "you gotta eat here " places. The food is very good, service is good. Lots of baked goods and canned goods at the cash to peruse. I had Judy's Club Salad. When I ordered I thought the price was a bit high..but when it came to the table- I understood. The salad was large ( I divided it 2 and took half home) and fresh. Very good. My friend had thr buffalo chicken burger and it was also delish. Stop in, it's a nice spot and not a chain restaurant.
