Since moving to Erin we have enjoyed many celebratory meals at The Busholme. It’s also a great spot to meet up with friends. Lovely seating areas inside and the patio. It’s cozy, great food, and friendly service. We also have loved the concert venue in the back room. Great spot to watch some of our faves like The Practically Hip, and reggae by Errol Blackwood. Very cool restaurant and concert venue!
We went here as part of a Guess Where Trip. We found the atmosphere to be great but extremely hot in the room we were in with radiators. We had the French Onion soup which lacked flavour unfortunately. It tasted like sweet onions and water. The spinach dip on the other hand was excellent. The waitress seemed overwhelmed and was slow on refilling our water and getting us the bill. I would suggest giving each table a bottle of water since the glasses are small.
What a GREAT place! The food is outstanding. The atmosphere is magical. Old school century building filled with history. I understand the upstairs will be some form of B&B rental too! And the bar! Entertainment is on the menu! It's a fully equipped stage with sound and lights which is great for the bands and musicians. And the audience can sit right up by the stage or back throughput the room. So glad to have been back there as it is a venue I used to play 35 years ago!!!
