I took a little off for the decor.

Austin was delightful, and one of the best servers I've ever had. He was very attentive and made sure we had a great meal. Did I mention that he looks to be between 8 and 10?

The food was delicious. The wonton soup was second only to my own. General Tao chicken was superb and delicious. The House Chop Suey was so good we ordered an additional to go. The egg rolls were exactly as expected.

As much as I love to give good reviews. I'm sad to say our experiences with this restaurant are lackluster. Everytine we place an order something is missing, gravy, sweet and sour sauce, breaded shrimp. We live in the next town so imagine getting home and realize tour order in incomplete. I gave the benefit of the doubt twice before now but this will be my last visit.

Horrible experience tonight. Got our order for delivery was totally messed up and when I called to let them know I was called a liar. Then after I said I would not ever return I was again called a liar. After I hung up I reviewed my bill and I was overcharged 9 bucks!

Had their Friday buffet, not very good. Poor selection, limited quantities and taste is mediocre.
Their take out however is quick and delicious.

Food is gross, small and hard chicken pieces in the sesame chicken and same goes with the sweet and sour pork. Very low quality meat. Last two times, they messed up our order. I keep giving them chances but the quality of food is worst every time I order. I won’t be returning again.

Doesn't seem like authentic Chinese food, specially compared to the Chinatowns in Toronto, but great typical Chinese American choices. A blast from the past growing up in London Ontario in the 70's and eating at Hoo Hoo's. We found the food good and the proportions were quite generous.

I checked their hours and it said they were open until 8pm. I called at 615 to see if they had a buffet open tonight and some young guy turned away my business saying they were closing soon so we could go. So rude. They weren't closing for 2 hours... more than enough time to eat a meal. Guess I'll take my business elsewhere ?..

Also the comment the below is untrue. The guy on the phone said I couldn't come in and they buffet is open until 730... maybe they should get their story straight. Even an hour and a half would have been lots of time to eat. No wonder they have a low rating.

Was driving through espenola and happened to catch their Friday buffet! They're food is delicious and they refill whenever a customer needs more. Which is great cause then it's always fresh! Would absolutely recommend!

Visited Happy Yummy for lunch for the first time in a few years, as it's near a cottage I visited. They are focusing less on buffet (now offered on Friday nights only) and more on individual dishes, which I think is a positive change as catering to a hungry buffet crowd constantly is difficult and can reduce quality. Now this place can shine with some of their stand-out dishes.

A paper menu, which I guarantee you will be sticky, will help you select your dishes, or combos if you are looking for more value.

I ordered 7 different main dishes, plus rice and rolls. As I'm gluten sensitive, I focused my own meal on two of these: the beef in black pepper sauce, and the honey garlic spare ribs. And I'm here to tell you that these dishes are *divine*. Like impossibly good. I took photos after I had finished about half of these myself, which I've added here. My group seemed equally enamored with the sesame chicken, the sweet and sour chicken balls, the lo mein and more.

Further, the speed at which the food was served was perfect. Dishes were brought to the table in order of readiness, along with a stack of plates for sharing. This allowed the food to start coming out almost immediately, with more dishes arriving in a nice pace as we ate, creating fun and variety. While this is less economical than ordering individual combo meals, it made for a fun experience and a greater variety of food.

Note that Happy Yummy really puts the "family" in family restaurant. A young adult may take your order, and two young children may clear your plates. I say this so you aren't surprised when it happens! While perhaps a bit unusual, they are excellent at what they do and earned an easy 20% tip on a large order.

Terrific spot for some delicious Chinese food. If you're in the Espanola area, definitely check this place out!

Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options available on the menu.

Parking: More parking spots than tables, so you will always find a spot.

Kid-friendliness: Not only are children welcomed, they are employed.

This was the worst so called chinese food have ever had. I ate a small amount and could not eat anymore. I left most of the order there. The shrimp fried rice for $13.99 had rice with 5 uncooked shrimp under it. The beef with veggies was covered in a horrible tasting gravy similar to the raw shrimp. Our food was delivered to us by a child who was maybe 7 years of age? Worst experience...

I ordered dinner for 4. Food was cold. No plum sauce for egg roll, very little stuffing in egg rolls. No soya sauce. Very small portions for 4 people. Only 2 chicken balls per person. Very disappointed
