Restaurant Garuda

So I've been ordering here for years. They really need to work on their customer service. Food has been good sometimes and other times it's been okay. I had orders in the past where they missed stuff which I did not give them a hard time. A month ago, I ordered food, was told 20 minutes until ready. I show up 40 mins later and was asked to wait another 5 mins. Ended up waiting another half hour in there. So it total 55 mins over what they said. Had some issue with their debit machine when paying but payment went through. A few days later when checking my transactions I was charged twice. I called the store, spoke to the lady owner who said will get back to me the next day. Since then, I have contacted at least 4 times and each time I was told she hasn't had a chance to look into it yet or the owner will call me back. It's been over a month, still no call back, no refund, and now they won't even answer my calls. I don't typically leave reviews, let alone negative ones but this deserves one for sure. Don't take advantage of your customers and cheat them. At this point, it shouldn't just be a refund they need to way more for this kind of absolute poor service. Not the way to run a business!

Food was too bad . I ordered paneer manchurian and paneer was too hard . I can’t eat it . Mango lassi is too much sweet. I wasted my money.

Some of the best Indian Food I’ve ever had. You can taste the passion and the love in the food. It is a simple location, run by a lovely and hard working owner-chef so don’t expect a “fast food” experience - but you can certainly expect one of the best meals of your life. Better than anything I’ve had in Toronto/Ottawa/Vancouver. Cannot wait to go back!!!

Actually haven't eaten there but if the aromas are an indication the food would be fantastic.
I wanted to purchase a Christmas gift certificate for friends and even though they were not available at the time the owner of the restaurant went out of her way to make them up for me the next time I went in. She's was a beautiful charming lady throughout making me feel quite comfortable and not put out the time spent with her. Definitely a wonderful restaurant

My friend and visited this place today. We ordered kerala beef roast which tastes good but quantity wasn't enough for $17.99 . We also tried their combo of idly and vada which comes 2 idlies and 2 vadas with three sides, sambar, coconut chutney and tomato chutney. Both the chutneys tasted good. But I am not fond of their sambar. Moreover, their idlies and vadas were too small. Lastly, we had Mysore masala dosa which we liked most out of the three dishes we ordered. MASALA tastes good and it comes with sides of sambar, coconut chutney, and tomato chutney, and it costs $14.99.

The service was very poor. The girl who took our orders had an attitude of not welcoming, which seems like we are taking free meals.

Restaurant interiors are pretty shabby and dirty. We ordered Dosa but the chutneys were watered down and sambhar was really bad :( . We had high expectations from the place given its Google reviews. But food and ambience was really bad :(

Vegetarian options: I have tried Gobi Manchurian and Mysore Masala Dosa was so good and felt like my mom's taste ...I love Garuda... Thanks you for giving us good food.... Will be definitely coming again and again.

Customer service very very bad. We are going near kitchen each time to order the food. They take lot of time to give the food even there is no crowd in the restaurant. The quantity is very less, they charge more , what we pay and what we recieve is not at all acceptable.

They really need to work on customer service .

Special chicken curry is good try that and order more it’s not sufficient for one person.

Awful service. Food taste was tasty and quantity is too low and very pricy. Not worth for the money.

We had Special biryani and Maysor Masala dosa. Very authentic south indian taste. Both were upto expectations. Will surely recommend this place to friends 😊
