Really like this cafe for home style cooking. I dropped 2 stars because they stopped serving our favourite dish. Bring back the Breakfast Bomb!

Stopped by on our way to Sault Ste. Marie. Short way off Hwy 17. Generous portions, fast friendly service. I tapped the “Cuddles wanted” bell at the cash. Hugs 🤗 were indeed offered and accepted! Fun quotation signs for your entertainment. “Many served, few have died” 🤣

Great spot to stop for a bite. Reviews were great so we thought we would stop here on our way through Espanola. So glad we did! A small cafe with a welcoming vibe. Our waitress was upbeat , friendly and attentive while the food was yummy and plentiful. No skimping on the chicken or bacon on my clubhouse sandwich or the bacon and cheese on hubby’s grilled cheese sandwich. We usually try to find these little known gems when travelling and this one definitely did not disappoint. Kudos!!!!!

Nailed it, I donno what else to say. I walked into this place after trying to find breakfast in Espanola not run by a corporation. I laughed, I enjoyed, staff is awesome and I love the home feeling with country music in the background..... Never judge a book by its cover

Our waitress was amazing Shay’s cafe is awesome , very home like feeling . It is tiny and brilliant , fast service does around 30- 35 people and I will tell you one waitress was rocking it , she was the real deal and friendly and interactive and kind hearted super efficient. our cook got food within less than 25 minutes with full tables being served almost at once . , from excellent coffee to always making sure it was filled , to end of meal excellent . Great size portions . Awesome breakfast. Give her a10/10 waitress and cook and service , they work this restaurant , true real deal , . Excellent hard working women. They Never stopped , and clean as a whistle in there . Will be for sure coming back !! When we travel this way. True breakfast restaurant excellent music . Felt like hometown northern Ontario and as well as seeing happy staff Love it . The most friendliest staff around . We will be coming back. Thank you ladies . Most enjoyable . Bathrooms wheel chair / accessible and right next to them in mall. Easy to come in and out . Thank you

Food was ok and service not bad and I did try the butter tarts and they were good but the filling to pastry ratio could be better and they are only open till 2pm which most of us can’t make in to. And in the mall they have a small seating area.
