We decided to pick up Capri after we heard about the new owner. When I arrive at the establishment I was greeted in a friendly manner. The place was very clean and the owner was very friendly! He offered me a couple cans of pop on the house and that was very generous of him. The pizza was probably one of the best pizzas I had in years! Very generous on the toppings and very tasty. I will definitely be returning to Capri Essex soon!

We have been enjoying Capri pizza for at least 50 years which I have no doubt will continue for our family’s 3rd generation. I have a very close friend who has recently requested that we ship 3 queen size pizzas to California!!!! You couldn’t pay especially South Windsor clients to eat anything but Capri’s pizza!!!! Recently moved to Essex only to find a Capri here as well. Same pizza, same service = same patrons!!! Kudos to Capri ?

Ordered a pizza asked for 1/3 cheese and was given 1/4. When I called to complain got nothing but attitude and was very argumentative. Returned pizza and was still not given what was asked for. Not returning to this place. If the option was Zero Stars they would definitely get it.
