I had the cornbeef hash and it was delicious! The cornbeef pretty much melted in my mouth. My eggs were cooked to a proper over easy and my potatoes well done, just the way I like them! The renovations are beautiful, it's giving modern monstera boho vibes and I love it! Friendly staff fast service and the owner is a gem. Garfield's is a wine country staple!

First time to Garfield’s after hearing and reading so many great things. And the reputation is well deserved. Excellent food, fun atmosphere and first rate service make Garfield’s a must do in Essex County. We enjoyed our lunch so much that we got take out for dinner. An Essex county gem! Garfield’s is small so keep that in mind. They also scale back takeout if the dining room is very busy. We had a successful takeout on a November Friday at 6pm. I got the sense that was about as late as they wanted to go.
