North 42 Degrees Estate Winery & Bistro 42

Servant was excellent and good attitude. Ordered a plate they came back saying not all ingredient is available!?. it takes too long to prepare the food, the place wasn't that busy. Price are too high compare to the quality, The chef is trying to be creative but failed. The ingredient of the plates are high quality, but it's not enough to enjoy the meal.

We ordered the mussels as an appetizer from the menu which stated it was in a white wine, garlic butter sauce...ours arrived in a curry sauce! Dreadful...and I like curry usually...not on mussels. If the menu had said they were in a curry sauce we wouldn't have ordered it. The hanger steak was good but we think that the chimichuri on top of it didn't really belong on a steak. Server was polite but slower than we'd like. Wine was ok and reasonably priced. They had music playing over the sound system, not too overly loud, nice selection of music but I noticed that during the entire visit there was only one tune on the playlist that was done by a Canadian artist. I asked the waiter who chose the songs, he told us it is the owner. I think, especially during these times, that more Canadian tunes should be played. I get a little tired of US only music.

My burger was pretty dry and tasteless, fries were good. Service was excellent, he couldn't do enough for us. Patio is great on a nice day, great view of the vineyard. The wine was reasonable and good. I would go for drinks, don't go for the food.

Nice grounds. Expensive wine. 3 Bottles of white wine cost $148.

Amazing view on the patio. Went for lunch with the wife for our anniversary.It was a really hot day but enjoyed it and had some wine slushies. The food was delicious and server was great even though they were busy. Will be back!

Great location. Limited menu. Needs more ventilation and air circulation. Upstairs was uncomfortably hot.

It's a nice place and a nice change from the city. The food was very good and the barrel aged can is quite good. Aside from.the air conditioning not working upstairs, it was a good experience and I would go back

We dined here on an extremely hot day but the upper restaurant was pleasantly cool. Claire was our server and she was extremely helpful with our wine and meal choosing. We had the lamb shank and tomahawk pork chop, both wonderfully presented and equally delicious. The lavender cheesecake topped off a great night. It was so good I bought some of the culinary lavender in the winery gift shop to try at home.

My wife and I have been to North 42 a handful of times. After our last visit, we will likely never return. I had ordered a burger with no bacon. Not only did the burger come with the bacon that I had specifically asked to not have. It was still pink in the middle.

For the price of food at North 42, there should never be a time where a burger is coming out to be served that’s still pink in the middle.

After bringing this to the waitresses attention, the best they could do was take half off of my meal which included just the burger and a side salad (which I didn’t eat at all after I got about half way through the burger and noticed the pink)

Again, for the price to dine and the type of restaurant they present themselves to be, this is utterly unacceptable.

North 42 is a beautiful restaurant surrounded by lavender. We had a wonderful time with friendly, prompt service and our food and drinks were delicious. We finished off our meal with the tasty lavender cupcakes! Afterward, we visited the outdoor gift area to purchase their lovely lavender and teas. We'll definitely be going back.

Beautiful view, amazing service and great food - burrata salad is perfection. Don't forget stop in the gift shop for their lavender linen spray! Excellent experience!

Lavender garden us overrated

Love this place. Food is always great. Our server Caroline is a doll. We've had the pleasure of her service several times. However, still no espresso, but the coffee they do serve is excellent. If you haven't been, u really should.
