Should have known this would be awful when it was the only place that wasn’t busy on a Friday night. We only came here as there was no where else to go. Next time I’ll just stay home. We arrived and there was no one there to seat us and there were only 3 other customers when we walked in. We ordered waters and once they arrived my boyfriend ordered a beer and the server walked away before I got the chance to order anything else. After waiting an hour for food my boyfriend got his 5 minutes before mine came out. I guess mine took longer so the cook could burn it. Despite being the only people there the waitress did not check on us throughout the meal and came at the end acting surprised about the burnt food she brought me. My boyfriend’s meal was awful as well. Save your time and money and do not come here.

Went there Friday for dinner. The chicken burger and chicken wrap were good, fries were excellent. Only down side was the restaurant smelled so bad like stale smoke

We went for a dinner date and to watch a football game. I had the taco salad and hubby had the chicken wings. The food was good. The atmosphere was welcoming & the wait staff was very friendly. Felt like a hometown kinda place. Just what Essex needs.

If I could give less than one star I absolutely would. My order was supposed to take 25 minutes but I ended up having to wait 45 minutes. I then got home with my Philly cheesesteak sandwich to find that all it had was burnt steak, was missing the sauce and the sauteed green peppers. It's also supposed to be on a hoagie bun but it came on what appears to be just a hot dog bun. Very disappointed and will not be ordering from here again.
Tailgaters is excellent. The bar staff are fantastic. Every food item I’ve eaten here has been awesome! Shout out to Colin Taylor for turning this place around and making it the new go to spot.

We ordered take out for the first time and it was extremely disappointing. All of the food was extremely cooked and very greasy most things inedible. We will unfortunately never be ordering from here again
