Food was great we ordered pho soup the portions are big and very filling. I did order a chicken fried rice to go and it was shrimp when I got home but it was still delicious.

Have I never rated Vang’s on Google?! Shame on me - I have been visiting Vang’s for the past 20 years … first in St. Clair Beach location & then in the current Essex location. Vangs has the, hands down, absolute BEST pho 🍜 I’ve ever eaten! I drive to another county, out of my way, frequently just to have the comforting, soul warming soup that Vangs makes with so much care. All three of our kids have fallen in love with ‘P3, extra meatballs’ 😉 ⭐️10 stars if I could!

Ive been going to Vangs for quite some time. And every time i go i say the same thing....Mild please. Mild. They are heavy handed on the heat. A few days ago i bought some dinner with a friend, we ordered 3 dishes....Mild. please mild. Got it home, it was bloody hot! It was so spicy it made my lips burn. It was impossible to eat. I dont understand, how mild means that hot. I can handle some heat, but this was just awful. I wont be going back anytime soon. Listen to your customers request!

Loved this place for a while. Went back after about a year and the food is just as good as ever. Also, when I was eating there, their card machine was having some kind of error. I only had so much change. They were nice enough to let me off so I didn't have to pay full price, I haven't forgotten this kindness! They've well-earned my review. Thanks again Vangs. Love the General Tso chicken.
I'm absolutely in love with Vangs Restaurant! From the moment I stepped in, I knew I'd found a gem. This small, cute restaurant packs a big punch with its amazing vibes, incredible food, and top-notch service.
The owner and staff are truly exceptional - warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The owner himself is a humble and impressive individual who clearly pours his heart into the restaurant.
The food? Absolutely divine! Each dish was expertly prepared and presented, with flavors that danced on my palate. The service was equally impressive - attentive, friendly, and prompt.
I'm already planning my next visit and can't wait to become a regular! In fact, I wish they'd open a location in the GTA area - it would be a game-changer!
Words truly aren't enough to describe my experience at Vangs Restaurant. If you haven't been, do yourself a favor and book a table ASAP. You won't regret it!

Food was amazing. Everything tasted very fresh. Service could have been a lot better though. The waiter seemed very overwhelmed with two large tables. Also ran out of whisky. But the food was worth it. ?% going back.
