Wonderful little bakery, loved by locals, I can speak, as I am one.
They are the only place near me that I can get a Kawartha Diary Milk Shake. It's really nice to hit them up after Church or a haircut or even a Doctors appointment just to get another milkshake.
They also have a decent selection of sandwiches, their wraps are quite good 👍.

Buttertarts were runny! Flavor good, texture wet. Brownie was just o.k. Sweet Marie very good. They asked for a tip. 30%. Asking for a tip is begging. Shocked and felt very uncomfortable. Sorry won't be back.

I walked in as a tourist, but they treated me like family. Not just pies, they also have dessert bars, ice cream, brownies, sausage rolls, tarts cold drinks made fresh to order sandwiches and they cater as well. You MUST go in and try their Pumpkin spice latte bars. ??

This place is an absolute favorite. The desserts and pies are incredible and the service is on point. Point we are the owners of the back 40 and the little pie Shack does all our desserts for wedding catering and they are absolutely outstanding and the weddings have been five star reviews and nothing but compliments ❤️. The presentation of flavor goes together. Absolutely a must try. I'm a weekly customer. What you see is what you get outstanding guys. Can't wait to come back.

People were friendly but the 2 pies I purchased were not good. The cherry pie was very sour and I was not able to eat it or my guests. I felt embarrassed to have served such disappointing piea at such a high price when I could have easily just grabbed cheaper pies from Sobeys' or another supermarket. At least then, I would have been able to return for a refund or some sort of compensation. The Peach pie I purchased was also not great either. The peaches were hard- as in not quite ripe enough for the pie. But otherwise edible. However, after this experience, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It's unfortunate, as I like to try to support small, local businesses, however, I don't think this will be on my list. I even phoned the day after the purchase of the pies, explained the situation and all I got was a simple "I'm sorry, we use sour cherries." No form of compensation was offered.

GO NOW!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The new owners of this little spot are wonderful. Keri works tirelessly to create food and baked goods that are DELICIOUS! I don't think I have ever had a Lemon meringue tart as good as hers!! If your looking for the perfect spot to pick up some sweet treats & Baked goods this is the Spot! 11/10!
