Best food I have had and if you really want spicy and taste Like at home, they will do a special dish just for you. Most people can't handle spiciness. So that is why they need every dish a little milder than it would be traditionally. The customer that complained should have requested more traditional flavor.. we do live in Canada and the restaurant needs to serve what it's customers prefer to stay in business. Give them a second chance.

Nice location on charming and old main street of town, looking out onto 19th-century stone architecture. Very friendly service and very tasty conventional dishes, including my favorite, Chicken Tikka Masala. Very enjoyable.

The best butter chicken I’ve ever had !!!!! I order just that sometimes to treat myself lol aloo gobi is wonderful too
Never going to this place again.
I ordered butter naan and garlic naan…
Naan were not fresh… these were ready-made from Walmart…
I don’t understand how does selling frozen naan make sense at a restaurant.

Me and my wife come here every week. We are no strangers to Indian cuisine, with that being said this is some of, if not the best you can find. We are always welcomed in a polite manner and satisfied with our food. If you are in the area and want authentic Indian cuisine I would recommend you stop here.

This is hands down one of the best restaurants! The food is consistently outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every single dish we’ve tried has been absolutely delicious.
The service is equally exceptional. What really makes this place special, though, are the owners. They are some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, and they make every guest feel like family.
We look forward to our weekly visits and always leave with full hearts and happy stomachs. If you’re looking for incredible food, warm service, and wonderful people, this is the place!

A Disheartening Experience for True Lovers of Indian Cuisine
Visited Fergus Tandoori Grill on September 1st, 2025 at 5 PM, hoping to share a flavorful Indian meal with my family. As someone who grew up with the rich, diverse tastes of Indian cooking, I was deeply disappointed.
Every dish—whether beef, chicken, lamb, or vegetable—was drowned in the same generic gravy. No distinct flavors, no thoughtful preparation, and certainly no respect for the culinary traditions that make Indian food world-renowned. It felt like a shortcut kitchen, not a celebration of spice and soul.
Presentation was lackluster, and the taste was flat. It’s heartbreaking to see the essence of Indian cuisine diluted like this, especially in a place that claims to represent it. I voiced my concerns to the front desk executive, and I truly hope they take it seriously.
To my fellow food lovers: if you’re seeking the real taste of India, this is not the place. I would never recommend Fergus Tandoori Grill to anyone who cherishes the depth and diversity of Indian cooking.
Please, don’t let this be your first impression of Indian food. It deserves better.

Very disappointed with this place. The food does not taste good at all , every dish had the same gravy, with just a different meat thrown in. Extremely overpriced for the quality. They call it an Indian restaurant, but this is nowhere close to authentic Indian cuisine. Definitely not worth the money. If you come across this restaurant, better to avoid it
It was okay but for the price not so much. I think the Naan bread I got had been reheated because it was rubbery. Nothing really stood out for me.

My wife and I ate there for the first time. And it was excellent I believe it was the owner That served us. Gave us complimentary. Appetizer , my food was excellent and one of the cooks even showed me how they made They're bred in a tandoori Oven. Will definitely go back.

I had a truly disappointing experience at this restaurant. Upon entering, the reception lady greeted us with an attitude that was anything but welcoming. Her tone was rude and dismissive, making us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than valued customers.
When we politely requested tea, she flatly refused, stating, “This is a dine-in, not a tim.” This kind of response was uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. Regardless of the establishment’s policies, there’s a way to communicate with customers respectfully—something this place clearly lacks.
We left feeling unwelcome and disrespected. There’s no reason to settle for such poor service. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The attendant was really rude and did not treated us properly. We were in search of an Indian restaurant but this was not what we expected. She refused to serve us tea for starting and made a really mocking face.
Will not recommend this to anyone.
Bullshit it is.
