I visited Fergus this year with my friends, and we were instantly drawn to this restaurant by its unique name and the charming red door sign. It felt so inviting that we decided to stop for lunch—and we’re so glad we did!

The atmosphere inside is cosy, warm, and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was healthy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious—especially the soups, which were amazing. Everything we tried was fresh and full of taste.

The waitress was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. She not only provided excellent service but also shared helpful suggestions about what to see and do around Fergus.

Overall, I loved everything about this restaurant. It’s a hidden gem that makes you feel comfortable while serving fantastic food. Highly recommended

Healthiest place to eat in town, amazing selection of delicious food. Staff is especially friendly, kind and attentive. I think about their grilled chicken panini (that is no longer on the menu), at least once a week and miss it dearly, though I have found other alternatives here that I also enjoy very much.

First stop when we reached Fergus. The food was amazing and portion was good. Reasonably priced for a place that uses fresh ingredients.Very welcoming employees. It is definitely a hidden gem! Love their fancy tea set.

A wonderful experience had. We were excited to find such a wonderful health food store with a large variety. Then, unexpectedly, my husband sees the restaurant further at the back. What a delightful surprise. We ordered their delicious cauliflower soup with a tuna sandwich and egg salad sandwich. It was delicious 😋 accompanied by delicious teas that were suggested by our waiter. We are from out of town but definitely hope to return soon. Thank you for such a delightful experience 😊

This really was one of the best breakfasts we've had - so we had it twice! The place is so lovely and the servers were very nice. We were a large group so we covered a lot of food and everyone loved their choices. To top it all off, the prices were quite reasonable so all, in all ... we can't wait to come again. Thank you!!

The red door restaurant inside this store is a really nice place to eat, now this hidden gem is all healthy non dairy, vegan, gluten free restaurant so I know it may not be for everyone but if your open to try it or you have dietary restrictions this is the place to go in Fergus. The service is good, a quaint quiet little area, the food is made fresh and very good, prices are reasonable servers are friendly they even have good desserts.

Oh my goodness. .. the Red Door Cafe/Restaurant is amazing. Fresh ingredients, homemade and delicious. If you are looking for an alternative to fried food, this is the restaurant to enjoy.

Service is excellent, healthy home cooked meals with something for everybody. Pleasant, small town atmosphere with a stunning view of the river. Quirky and cute!

Called to make reservation for friend who will be 97. Booked, but was cut off before I could ask about birthday cake and seating. Very rude. Will keep booking, but will not return.

I had Nathalie’s Famous Panini and it was delicious! Goat cheese was very flavourful, the local bacon was really nice, and the thinly sliced pears was such a fancy touch!

If they’re serving Green Goddess soup when you go, be sure to treat yourself!
