Not sure what happened usally the food is great. We took our friends there yesterday for the first time. they were not impressed the chicken tenders and fish were very dark in color and hard while the fries were were very soft and sloppy . I think the oil needs to be changed!

We had a wonderful lunch/early dinner at the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. We drove from London to visit Elora but could not find a restaurant that wasn't packed. We decided to drive to Fergus and give it a try. SO GLAD WE DID... Bangers and mash was absolutely amazing. The flavour was incredible. The hint of grainy mustard, along with the perfectly steamed veges made this dish one to remember. We will definitely drive back to Fergus just for this dish. Thank you again for not disappointing.

Excited to take my family to a local spot, only to feel completely embarrassed. The food is always hit or miss there, but it’s our service that was terrible. From the moment we sat down, we were an inconvenience to our server. Every time we spoke we got an eye roll and a quick runaway. My daughter was in tears over her bad meal and when she nervously sent it back, she then charged us for both meals. Such a disgrace. This ruined our experience (obviously!) and after several try’s at this place, we know this is our sign to never come back or recommend this local spot.

In for lunch today arriving at noon. Ordered schnitzel sandwiches. Took 45 min to arrive at table and we're virtually cold thin and chewy. Fries cold as well. Very unimpressive! Have had schnitzel dinners here in past. No comparasine today in sandwich format.

Great value for the steak frites on Tuesdays for $22. Will certainly return regularly for that. As it was my first time there I will edit this accordingly for subsequent visits but so far the atmosphere is great, service was very slow and not very attentive but it was also a Tuesday so likely short staffed? Not sure. Food was great (steak) for the price but the fries have so much more potential. They were tasty fries but way too saturated with oil and not nearly crispy enough (not a preference, just a requirement) and were cool to the touch. Get this right and you could have a knockout setup. I read other reviewers about warm pints and I too had the same issue. My pint was as cold as if the tap was set to lukewarm at best. Need to get those checked. Photos will come next time.

Nice day for the patio on wing night, the food was not as hoped, the fries were greasy and so were the wings… much like dirty oil. The beer taps were not cold and 2 of the 3 beers I tried were not great, temp and taste were off. Not sure what happened as last summer were were there a lot and was great, but today was not great. Hopefully will improve in the future.
We stopped in for a quick lunch and had a fantastic time! Warm reception, funny bartender with serious hospitality. Nailed it!!! We had pierogies, burgers and beers and food was wonderful. Honestly, it made our day.

I would have given this 4 stars if they hadnt mixed my main.The wife was done her dinner before I got mine.They were nice and they apologized for the mix up and gave me a discount for the mistake.The steak and stout pie was worth the wait.

Cold greasy soggy fries and overcooked tough schnitzel. Very disappointed. All of us asked for extra crispy fries. If we had not been guests of friends, the meals would have been sent back. The fish and chips used to be good not anymore.
