Always have a great time here. Emily is the best bartender in town and she never stops smiling. Great food and service.

I could only give a 1 star because we were turned away. Yes I get it was karaoke, we weren't staying for that was just wanted to have a quick bite to eat. The Newfie was our first choice. Yes she checked for free tables and we were told they were full. So I said to the girl "so you're turning us away?" "Yes"...what kind of service is that? Who turns customers away? You mean to tell me these people were all staying for karaoke. There were two tables empty and regardless of karaoke I think a better effort should have been made. She didn't even offer for us to wait. We went to the Brewhouse where they graciously sat us without hesitation. Cannot see myself returning to GN anytime soon.

Loved the vibe here and the service was great. I ordered a small Newfie poutine and it was the perfect size. My dad ordered the fish and enjoyed it.

The seafood chowder is comparable to any I've had in the east coast. The best in Ontario. It's a must have.

Busy on Saturdays. Did not realize that you can make reservations. Food was good and the staff were even better. The atmosphere is relaxing and did not feel hurried.

Always a pleasure to stop here for lunch/dinner. This time I found the fish and chips a little bit greasy but, in any case, good till the last bite!

Always a fun place to go. Servers work very hard to see that you have a great time. Food is very good and very large portions. Seafood chowder is one of my favourites, I only wish that they served it by the cup because the bowl serving is all that I can eat and then I miss out on all the really good main courses. I find it a little noisy but of course that goes along with it being a Newfie pub.

Everything was awesome. If you've never been there, the entrance is at the back of the building. At first, we couldn't find the place. Eventually, we did, and I'm glad we did. I had The Big Catch, it's a huge fish sandwich and Newfie Fries.Parking: Free parkingWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible

Beautiful location and really cool atmosphere. Their chicken wings are huge! Very tasty. :). The server was very friendly, and service was incredibly quick. When it's warmer, it would be an amazing place to have lunch on the deck. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

This restaurant delivered exactly what I was expecting. East coast style food in Ontario. Fine dining this is not but with a name like the goofy newfie You probably already figured that out. I had the George Street chicken sandwich and my wife had the fish and chips with a side of donaire bites. It was a little busy when we were there but the server was very attentive refilling my soda as much as I wanted. It was not an expensive restaurant but I also would not call it cheap.I don't visit this area of Ontario very much, but if I find myself there I would probably visit the goofy newfie againParking: There is a shared parking lot for all businesses in the building.Wheelchair accessibility: It was raining when we arrived so the boardwalk to the entrance was a bit slippery. The entrance, dining area and bathroom are all at ground level.
