Fantastic cinnamon buns, great drinks.
Update: Under new ownership now I believe, but still excellent! Haven't seen the cinnamon buns the last few times I've been in, but they always have delicious and creative treats! The staff are super friendly, the coffee is great. Overall a great local spot to enjoy coffee and a pastry or a light lunch.
Went here for a girls trip to Elora and it was the perfect spot! Staff were so friendly and all of our drinks were delicious we had the caramel Macchiato, Vanilla Late, and London Fog. I’m still dreaming of the incredible Breakfast Croissant they have!

Great place for a coffee or food. I’ve been coming here lately as the local coffee place in Elora is closed for renovations. I must say I’m disappointed with myself for not coming here soon. The service is amazing, always friendly and attentive. Food, whether breakfast, lunch or just a snack is always fresh and flavourful. Coffees are always hot and dietary restrictions are always considered. Well worth the “long” drive from Elora.
We enjoy coffee and pastries here regularly. Staff is young, positive and enthusuastic. Coffee and baked goods are tasty. Atmosphere is traditional coffee shop.
Where it fails has nothing to do with the establishment. It's some of the customers. Cool edgy hipsters who buy one small iced coffee and then park themselves on a table for four, laptops open, phone on display, backpack and bag and coat strewn across 3 chairs, conducting business or pretending to study. Listen up, you are costing the owner money because paying customers can't find a place to sit, so they leave. There is a library across the street, go there, and leave the tables available for paying customers. Owners, please enforce a 20 minute time limit like other places do. We regularly turn away because there is no place to sit.

Had a Cheesy BLT and a cappuccino. Both were great. The sandwich was fresh, tasty, and very filling. Comes with a side of chips. Lots of farm table seating. Service was fast and friendly.

Stopped in after a quick little overnight in Fergus. This gem was just steps away from our air bnb. Quick and efficient yet friendly service. Quality coffee and delectable scones. Calm, comfortable ambiance. 10/10 on all fronts.

Love this cafe! Such a great vibe and space. Had a delicious chocolate chip cookie and a very tasty Spanish latte. Lots of seating, including the old vault, which was pretty cool.
Kid-friendliness: A family friendly place with a number of four person tables.

Nestled in the heart of the city, the vault is the epitome of cozy charm and Instagrammable decor. Picture this: rustic wooden tables, soft ambient lighting. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingles with the hum of hushed conversations, creating an atmosphere so inviting you almost forget you paid an arm and a leg to be there.
Let’s talk prices first. A latte here isn’t just a drink; it’s an investment. At over 5$ for a medium (or should I say "grande"), you’re not just buying coffee—you’re purchasing a caffeinated experience. And if you’re feeling fancy and decide to pair it with a croissant, be ready to shell out another $6.00. Yes, folks, a buttery delight that costs more than your daily commute.
But oh, the ambiance! It’s so delightful you’ll almost forgive them for making you donate a kidney to afford a second cup. Almost.
However, the vault has one glaring flaw. Despite its stylish allure, the entrance is narrower than a fashionista's waistline. That’s right—if you’re a parent with a stroller or someone who uses a wheelchair, accessing this trendy haven is like trying to squeeze a hippo into skinny jeans. The doorways are so tight, you’d think they were designed to deter anyone not already a size zero.
It’s a shame, really. For a place that’s nailed the chic and cozy vibe, inclusivity seems to have slipped through the cracks. The stylish decor and mouth-watering menu are overshadowed by the fact that not everyone can enjoy them. Accessibility shouldn’t be an afterthought, but here, it seems it barely made the thought process at all.
In conclusion, the vault has mastered the art of creating an atmosphere where you can sip on your $8.00 Americano while contemplating the mortgage you just took out to pay for it. If you’re not in a wheelchair or pushing a stroller, you might just love it. Otherwise, this stylish and cozy spot is a reminder that sometimes, even the chicest places have their shortcomings.
So, if you’re up for an adventure in navigating narrow doorways and don’t mind splurging on coffee that costs as much as a small car payment, give the vault a try. For everyone else, there’s always a drive-thru, elsewhere.
